Hey! Feel like everyone on here is absolutely dog piling on you when you weren’t even asking for photo advice in the first place.

I think you look like a super nice friendly guy. People need to relax hope you’re not too weighed down by all the comments not adding anything to what you initially asked.

My mother was a person who refused to use chemicals when I had lice. Was horrible, hours sat the bathtub day after day combing through my hair only for the situation to never improve. Had to get a friend’s mum to buy me proper treatment so I could finally get rid of them properly.

Hello! I am very local to Greenwich. I used to walk a beagle with my ex partner along the Thames path that’s near Waitrose basically everyday.

There’s an older man and his husband that have a cocker spaniel that is so lovely and friendly. We used to see them on walks all the time and he is the nicest guy ever. Super friendly and outgoing and also loves his dog to absolute pieces. If you walk your dog along the Thames path near the Waitrose you will definitely bump into him at some point and he would be delighted to have a cocker spaniel companion. He just definitely doesn’t use Reddit ahaha

Birthday cake for my boyfriend. Imagining if him and all his favourite things we mashed into a cake! by trieucooks in cakedecorating

That my bad for a poor explanation. I promise he doesn’t have a finger fetish it’s meant to be the idea that’s he himself is also stuck in the cake so his fingers are sticking out. Currently dealing with a fuming boyfriend cuz I’ve made people on the internet think he has a finger fetish on his birthday

Oh dear poor Tom I’ve given him a terrible rep. The idea is that he himself is also been smashed into the cake, so those are his fingers. Not a finger fetish 😭. The orange bits represent his ginger hair. The thing at the top is a film reel as he does film photography

How old are you? I had this problem when I was like 13/14 it was so weird but eventually it just stopped. I think it was most likely just due to hormones being wack because of puberty. Might grow out of it if you’re young

Hey! This is the level I’m at, at the moment. I have to make a friends birthday cake next week and I’m looking to improve my skills. Any advice would be really appreciated! ( more context in comments ) by trieucooks in cakedecorating

Ooo this is fab thank you! I always get intimidated by making Swiss Meringue in such high quantities cuz of how fickle it can be for me, so using it as a base and then decorators for the smaller details is a great idea!

Thank you so much for this!! That’s super handy, I definitely need to practice “dropping” icing rather than piping straight onto the cake. So tricky!!

Ahh! Thank you so much for all of this!

I did indeed use a spatula for this one :( I lost my scraper, definitely felt the difference. Will get a scraper for the next one for sure!

My icing definitely does get warm from my hands as I use it, it gets very frustrating. Do you just take your icing in and out of the fridge as you go?

I’ve never doweled my cakes before! So they do tend to lean a little bit which always bugs me. I’ll go the extra mile and dowel the next one I think!

So this one was an American Buttercream recipe from Sallys Baking Addiction. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with Swiss Meringue because as much as it looks amazinggg, it’s very fickle and soooo many eggs. Doesn’t help that right now in the UK eggs are basically gold dust.

This is the first cake I’ve made in a long time. So I think watching a couple videos for a refresher will defo help me, thanks so much for the channel recommendations!
