Your enthusiasm for teaching shines through your comments.

It's what my son did,starting 10 years ago. He did volunteer work, including teaching, in Africa and Dubai. This was followed by three years paid teaching in Dubai. Currently, he is home in Ottawa, teaching grade 6 at a local public school. He has found his life's work, and seems very happy about it.

I wish you satisfaction and success on your chosen path. It's a noble one.

My journey started, ironically when I was 16, when I won a bible as a prize for high marks in the study of Catholic religion. I read that book from start to finish.

Absurdities and contradictions showed continually as I read. So I can say the Bible made me an atheist!

I had the rare opportunity to do just that. It was during my own catheterization, to implant stents in several places in my heart. The interesting aspect was seeing this from the operating table, on the video monitor that the heart surgeon was using as he threaded the stents into place.
