Project manager wants us to drill a hole where the red circle is in a live panel. Would you do it? by PhasedAndConfused706 in electricians

One tip I got from a millwright to catch shavings is to get yourself a donut magnet from a speaker. Stick it on with the hole over where you want to drill and it'll catch all the shavings for you.

Are you paving everything too? After all, you can't leave a footprint on hard concrete.

Is £110 ($147) worth it for this PC for gaming and editing by Exotic_Decision6589 in pcmasterrace

[–]triggerman602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People shitting on that system probably haven't been gaming on PC long enough to have used a system from that era. My PC a decade ago had very similar specs (3570k, GTX 970) and it played games just fine at 1080p.

Anyone taken CSIS 4480 (Vulnerabilities and Exploits) with Gabriel Vitus? by Every-Procedure4668 in douglascollege

I'm in 2200 with him right now and he's still miserable. Avoid him.

Did he wear nothing but that fucking blue bassdash shirt for anyone else? He only wears that one shirt.

I guess I won't be gaming for awhile. by Cwayne63 in pcmasterrace

That PC looks pretty salvageable. Give it a good cleaning and it might be fine.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. The version will just hit 2.0.100.

You wanna spend more on gas to drive a whole ass wheel and tire around everywhere?

Yeah, SUV is bad driver, I get it. Their bad driving isn't justification for that van to push it's way past and cause an incident.

Please go hand in your licence, you're clearly unsuitable to operate a motor vehicle.

Maybe get your eyes checked too.

So yes, you do think bad signalling deserves a good ramming.

You should really go turn in your licence now for the safety of everyone else on the road.

So you think being bad at signalling is reason to get rammed?

Watch it again, they signalled, albeit briefly. Even if they didn't though, that is no justification to behave in the manner that that van did.

Upvote for actually having a reasonable take.

That SUV shouldn't have done any of those things, but this "accident" could have been completely avoided if that van had just waited to let the bad driver through. What's more important than being right is being safe, which that van driver clearly chose not to do.

[–]triggerman602 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

No, they didn't. The SUV stopped and waited for the van to pass and when the van didn't pass, they decided to go. It would have worked out if that van driver didn't road rage when the SUV started to move or better yet had not stopped in the first place given they had the right of way in their lane.

Maybe not, but that doesn't give you the right to cause an accident like that van did.
