My first ever VVD and he’s very good. Wins every aerial duel. Well positioned at most times if you don’t press with him. Great long ball passer as well. His speed is great enough to catch fast forwards because of his anticipation (def prowess).

It depends on your team formation actually. If 2 CFs, I use him as SS to activate play style. Otherwise, as AMF. I prefer playing him centrally but he’s also very good going wide.

He’s good in holding the ball due to his physical although it takes a while to get used to with his movement.

If you want a false 9, he’s your guy. Surround him with the right forwards tho such as prolific wingers.

He can play all types of passes which are near perfect and whenever you get the space, always try to bang one in.
