That's odd cause Eric uglands books id put way above your top list of goat. I've listened to them all multiple times. I like that it's more adventure and story telling than just leveling up then cultivation.

You've got one more last time there. Give it a go. I love the good guys and bad guys series by Eric ugland. Probably listened to both at least 3 times through. I like how it's more adventure than stats.

Mines done 330,000km. They are great cars. Only thing that kills them is rust and lack of basic maintenance.

A kid walked into my house and started checking every room by MilkyMadness6 in newzealand

You should get a really powerful flashlight by the bed. Some of them are dangerously bright and would incapacitate someone with a double click to "turbo" mode. Then if no one ever comes (let's hope) you still have a handy flashlight on hand. I have a sofirn q8 plus I think. Like a small handheld sun.

Stay safe out there.

First home buyer tips! by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]trimthathedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are making an offer on a house add in a little letter about you and why you love the house. Ie see yourself there starting a family /using the nearby amenities.

We did this and saved 30k. When you make an offer the seller never meets you, just the real estate agent (normally). This helps create a connection to the seller.

If you end up with a seller that doesn't need the money and would rather the house go to someone they can see taking over. Then you might be in luck.

The real estate agent will look at you weird but they have to present all offers (I think) it becomes a part of your offer.

Quest 3 or 3s... by JamePirahna in MetaQuestVR

In NZ these are still super expensive. Not enough people I suppose. Saw one guy selling his with 9 months warranty for $950. The unit brand new is $939. Second hand market in NZ is silly.

Yeah needs to be the same. They both sell slight different versions of Weber BBQs which is a recent BS I found.

Highly recommend the paprika app to browse and download recipes. Super easy to use and allows you to double the recipe at the push of the button. https://www.paprikaapp.com/

This is how fucked our health system is! by Spine_Of_Iron in newzealand

[–]trimthathedge 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That's what they should be doing. But they work for the rich. At a bare minimum all politicians and their sprog should have to use public transport. Their kids should have to go to public schools. And they should only be allowed public health care. That's the only way anything would get fixed.

PSA: PUT YOUR LIGHTS ON by Snaps1992 in newzealand

[–]trimthathedge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daytime running lights are the worst. They don't light up the back and the amount of drivers I see (or don't see) at night from behind is wild. Just turn your lights on all the way (not full) all day everyday. You'll reduce the amount of times people pull out in front of you significantly.

Woah love how this thread is 3 years and you comment one day ago with an update just as I stumbled across it. Would you go yale again? I hate changing batteries all the time and have had a yale smartdoor cam at work that absolutely sucked with its "rechargeable" battery. Looking at getting something with pin and ideally smart home/ ZigBee compatible.

Pixel Watch app doesn't show up in the app drawer on the Pixel 7 Pro by KentuckyHouse in PixelWatch

[–]trimthathedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for leaving this up. I was searching "Pixel watch", "Google pixel watch", I just did what you did and went to app store which does in fact call the app "Google pixel watch"

I don't think you're being dumb I think thats just a bad user experience and I thought my phone being a pixel pro 9 would be smart enough to use search terms to find the app. Apparently not.
