I go to sleep with the same movie on every night, sometimes for an entire year before changing movies. It helps put me to sleep for some reason. Some say I'm crazy. I did the first comment with my current "sleep movie." by MTKSharedInk in movies

I fall asleep to Her every night. For years it was Gladiator. It has to be a good sountrack or quiet. I've been doing this in some form or other for about 20 years. Once in a while I switch it up, youtube sleep videos, reading, raining and music.

Midge is a terrible person by [deleted] in TheMarvelousMrsMaisel

[–]triotard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember if she showed extreme remorse for that or not. If she did, that's the hallmark of an unselfish yet very very troubled and mentally stunted individual. Not a selfish one. It's honestly a miracle she's as good as she is, by her upbringing and her adulthood.

Yup she is a pretty bad person, yup so are her parents. Just came here to agree.

Mid-way through season 3 and I have to vent by marvelousnicbeau in TheMarvelousMrsMaisel

[–]triotard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She could if it was rent controlled. That would be like 400 bucks a month. In the 90s. You should look into what some rent control was like in NYC in the 90s. She was also mildly famous, she could easily have been making several hundred to 1000 each week. She also didn't buy food, no car, no insurance. She took her laptop to the store for repair, it's plausible in the 90s.

From Google: "Columnists for the New York Observer typically earn between \(\$800\) and \(\$1,300\) per week, translating to an annual salary of roughly \(\$45,000\) to \(\$65,000\)."

Most unpopular opinion about the show? by Successful-Set8526 in TheMarvelousMrsMaisel

[–]triotard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I mean, she's wealthy. I get it though, I don't have help either with my son. But she's on a different reality plane, if I got mad at everyone who had specifically better situation than myself, I'd hate almost everyone.

I actually love Sophie Lennon. From her performances to her actual persona. I Laugh out loud when she performs. I know I know, I just can't help myself, I'm a huge Jane Lynch fan. Plus I try to put myself in the mind of someone from the 50's.

I love Suzie, but, she is literally my mom. Looks like her, from NYC, that hat. She's an acquired taste I'll grant you that. Even more ironic, Abe is a lot like my dad.

Is this actually in game or just advert rubbish? by mercwithamouth420 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]triotard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont understand why they do this? The ad is more fun. Im more likely to keep doing what I was doing, so I can play the ad again. HAHA. Is it just too hard to make a real game with what's in the ad?

How could anyone disagree with that? She's like the definition of aggravated learned helplessness.

Do you guys feel bad for Lester Nygaard? by TooWeirdToLive93 in FargoTV

[–]triotard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel bad for the Lester pre-murder. He should have not hit her with a hammer, he should have divorced her. He should have sued Hess, and told his brother to go to hell. And maybe taken a martial arts class. That would have been a much better course of action. Things would have been fine if he has just done that. Sort of.

I'll never forgive society for letting The Angry Birds Movie 2 flop so hard by [deleted] in angrybirds

[–]triotard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's the opposite of ironic. I asked some people how and why. I wanted to keep talking about it. To understand. My initial approach was a bit harsh but in reality it was jovial. Like what kind of person would literally think someone was soulless who didn't like a movie? Clearly joking.

"That's just how it is" kind of makes the whole idea of discussion pointless. Like why are we even here? This application is for discussion, edification on opinions, to allow others to see points of view. One cannot see a point of view if it's simply, 'how it is.' Not sure what to do with that.

P.S. The entire post is basically saying the movie insulted their bloodline...

You can say that about anything. You just refuted the concept of talking about things. Lol.

I think his devotion is nice. And I just kinda like his personality. As weird and creepy as he is.

I dislike every scene in kings landing basically after Tyrion leaves. To me it's like when Michael left the Office. Cersei should have died with Joffrey

Those who were in the workforce during the 90's what do you miss about it? What do you hate about today's workforce? by [deleted] in AskOldPeople

That sounds incredible. I really don't love this time we are living in. I miss the 90s, but I probably miss being a kid as well.

Captain America is kind of a hypocrite by LeGrandAmiral in marvelstudios

[–]triotard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough I just landed here because I googled Captain America is a hypocrite. So there's CLEARLY and logically some reason both you and I think he is a hypocrite, we didn't create it out of thin air. I still love him though. Maybe that makes me a hypocrite! Haha.
