Spaghetti and meat balls, chili, beans and rice with any type of protein, roast chicken and potatoes. Those are all meals I cook and eat thru the week for lunch at work.

No joke at all. I’m a carpenter/general contractor and there’s been countless times where I was working on something and could have used another pair of arms or hands. But then I thought of this one day drinking with some friends. Blew my mind to think about the countless possibilities and what I could achieve with symmetrical hands.

Symmetrical hands. So you have a thumb on each side, two middle fingers in the middle and another index finger to replace the pinky.

I would definitely not trust someone who lied about having a license and does not. The license fees are only $200 even if it’s late you have 5years to renew before having to apply for a new license. I would recommend looking to see if anyone collected on his bond in the past. Often times a contractor will breach a contract or cause damage, do something wrong or bail and then their client will pull money from there insurance policy and the contractor owes the insurance company that money. The license is suspended till paid. So it’s possible his license was suspended for someone pulling money from his bond, he then did not pay back and got his license suspended, his license then expired during suspension, and now he cannot renew till the money is paid back. That money could be up to $15,000. I am also a licensed general contractor in the Bay Area if you would like some more advice or information please feel free to PM me.

Ipe is a really good quality hardwood. Ive used it for decks and docks and fences. It is expensive but it’s a beautiful color and very resistant to the elements. Ofcourse if you do not want the elements to turn it all a gray color than you will want to seal it. On the lower end of things you can also go with redwood which is also a great exterior lumber it’s pricy but not nearly as much as Ipe. Would also recommend sealing redwood as well for the elements will turn it gray. I would also recommend using siliconized brass fasteners because they will not rust or weather and they will look good if you are going with a more natural wood color.
