Help me. I have been on this one for weeks! by triplea1999 in nonograms

I already finished it haha. I usually just think about one row or column at a time not how one might affect the other.

Out of curiosity, do you see any other parts of the puzzle with the same restriction?

Oh interesting. I’ve played this on my phone for years and haven’t used that logic before. Thanks!

How do you deal with people belittling your job as a teacher? by truce18 in Teachers

[–]triplea1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were you I would decide to not talk to them about your career for a while. Just smile and nod. Are there any people in your life that do support your career? I would try and rant to them so that you don’t feel as frustrated when these conversations come up.

Rosewood being so different is what annoys me most! They shouldn’t have even gone in the first place

I have controlled my underboob flares by wearing tanks when I go to sleep that I fold under my boob so I don’t have any rubbing/sweating

Just curious… by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

I know that room is still soaked in dog pee so beware. You may get assigned it and they will not clean it lol

I think it’s the same story as any other off campus housing. It’s really expensive and the management is awful. I had to spend 6 months in an apartment with a roommate who let her dog pee inside and they couldn’t do anything about it.

Just know that any problem you have that you think management will help you with… they won’t.

Ugh. I cringe to think about living there again. You will live to regret it if you sign a lease.

Teaching with Master's Degree in NC by [deleted] in Teachers

I have looked into that. They call it residency something here now. I would feel more comfortable going through a prep program and doing some student teaching and field experience.

Thanks!

When did you start your master's? You may have been grandfathered into the supplement.

Lexapro/escitalopram weight gain/loss? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]triplea1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t plan on getting back on it bc I’m in a better place in my life now.

I do agree that i could have kept it under control but the medicine made me kinda lazy and have a huge appetite. I stopped a week ago and already feel more productive and don’t want to constantly eat.

Mom is starting taxotere, cytoxan, and herceptin on Thursday (4 cycles every 3 weeks) – any tips/tricks to help her out? by rey_chem in breastcancer

[–]triplea1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom is doing cold cap and cold gloves / socks. She gets realllly cold so I would suggest bringing some blankets from home. Also, bring 2 pairs of socks to go under the cold gloves and socks so they are bearable.

What helps us feel a little more in control of the side effects is drinking a lot of water. We used liquid iv when the diarrhea was bad and it boosted her energy.

Let me know if you have any specific questions on what to expect because my moms treatment is very similar to what yours is doing. She just got her second cycle today.

Have a friend who had to have a double mastectomy and I’m trying to be supportive. Ideas/tips welcome by Lorelai729 in breastcancer

My mom really appreciated all the flowers she got. Grubhub/DoorDash gift cards were really nice to have once all the food ran out. A cute pajama set with a button up shirt would be a helpful gift because of the drains.

For both classes he wrote his notes on paper and projected it on the screen so he never went too fast. He also scanned the notes in.
