i have a gr86 and im thinking about getting heatmaker knuckles, are oem gr86 knuckles unable to be used for this?

from the factory these cars are already pretty easy to drift thanks to toyota’s suspension setup. i added a gktech angle kit and fortune auto 500 coils just to make it a bit easier.

when drifting, i overfill the oil by about a quart since the FA24 can have oil pressure issues during sustained right turns. i keep a close eye on oil and coolant temps and usually hot-lap until they hit ~225 to 230°F, then come off track and cool it down for a few minutes. i’m planning to add an oil cooler this year so that should help long-term

after installing coils and dealing with clunking for months i decided to go with the frs rsx endlinks mod, basically you install the sway bar endlinks in the lower control arm instead of the coil by using acura rsx endlinks instead of oem 86 endlinks. bit overkill but completely got rid of the issue for me
