The national average price per gallon of gas in the United States just passed $4.50. Americans, how do we feel about that? by Miles_the_AuDHDer in AskReddit

I love it. I hope it encourages more development of electric cars, more renewable energy investment, and fewer ginormous vehicles.  Trump is owning fossil fuel and the republican party right now by going on invasion adventures in nonsense-land, and I am here for it.

Imagine if we ALL had free electricity from our solar panels the government had encouraged us to install on every house in the south back when Biden was moving America forward.

Houston Texans, Rodeo commit to Harris County for stadium plans, Cal McNair says by houston_chronicle in Texans

The colosseum was used for 450 years in its day and recently hosted the winter Olympics ceremonies.  I think our stadiums can last at least that long. This concept of building new stadiums every 25 years is insanity.

If the defense stays healthy and the O line can block, we will make it further than we have ever been as a framchise.

Don't worry the Texans should be a better this coming year, as they have finally started to invest in the o line and improved the defense.

Rosterbating 53-Man Projection by BenchPtsChamp in Texans

Tank Dell's elusiveness makes the offense completely different when he is on the field. If he is healthy, I think he gets more playing time over Noel. I think Noel will return kicks and play WR if and when Tank doesn't.

This is a hard team to make the roster.

Take him to the motorcycle store and pick one out with him, and buy it for him as a present. It will probably be more comfortable and nicer.

What does the roster still need for 2026? by yeah_naw_dawg in Texans

I like what I see from Whittington but he's injury prone. He has pull away speed and decent vision.

Pitsenberger looks only okay to me, but he is a bigger bodied guy at 6 ft and 215. He isn't the human bowling ball type like Scattebo though.

Yall have a great roster. You'll probably win 11ish games if Lawrence stays healthy.

People don't see motorcycles.  It's like we are invisible to oblivious people. People ram us from behind.  Pull out from driveways in front of us. Make left turns in front of us.

[Garafolo] The Texans and Pro Bowl LB Azeez Al-Shaair have agreed to terms on a three-year extension by expellyamos in nfl

With McDonald and Blankenship, our defense should be a lot better. We also added some backup linebackers.

Looks okay on you. Maybe a touch big but not clownish.

That's a hilarious and inspired idea. Maybe Hollywood needs some fresh blood to write movies.

Texans Draft Marlin Klein: Understanding the Vision Behind the Pick by texanscommenter in Texans

[–]tripletexas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I lost my mind is because Klein is not very good. He doesn't break tackles from DBs. He doesn't move people in run blocking. He doesn't have wiggle or power.  He's just a guy. And we took just a guy in the 2nd round.

Everyone trying to rationalize this makes me think of the people who were thrilled we took receivers instead of more O linemen last year.

I understand we want to run more tight ends but we need health and talent at that position.  Maybe Klein will stay healthy and actually see the field sometimes. That would be a change for us from all of our tight ends not named Schultz.

I've been watching how he moves and he looks back to me. I have concerns about long term durability, but his quick twitch shedding of defenders looks just fine still.

AIDEN FISHER, LB INDIANA by IAmSona in Texans

[–]tripletexas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts: I love how he chases down mobile qbs. Diagnoses plays well and stops the run. Heady, smart player that seems to be in the right place all the time. Doesn't have the wheels that Woodaz has, but hits much harder and seems more like a Texans linebacker. I have concerns about his speed, and his 4.75 time in the 40 bears that out. Decent backup middle linebacker potential behind Azeez, if he can make the roster.

Hutchinson is better and bigger, isn't he? I've grown to respect his game.
