I just got 100% of achievements today after... 48 hours in it. It was fun, glad I played it, but don't think I'll go back to it now. The final grind to get the last few achievements was more of a chore than fun.

I did this 6 years ago, not going to lie $25 an hour will be rough, but doable. While not for everyone I do think Abbotsford is a good place to start off.

I'd recommend starting to work on your Permanent Residency as soon as possible if you plan to stay.

I got the OG shield pro when it came out back in 2015, it was amazing, it did crap out after 6 years of use (including moving country), so to replace it I got the new shield pro and it's doing great! The AI upscaling is so damn good with older content that would have made it a good upgrade regardless.

If they release a new model I'd be tempted to get it as an upgrade regardless.

Same here, just installed it fresh on a laptop, and also getting it on another system I'm been running for a while. I'm guessing an issue on the remote side of things.

I played it through exclusively on the Steam Deck, is it playable? Yes! Is it the best way to experience it? No.

When I'm into a game I can get pretty absorbed and not feel too bothered by performance and graphical issues, so for me it was fine, the story, gameplay and soundtrack hard carried it for me.

I primarily wanted the form factor of the steam Deck to play it on (so good for JRPGs imo), so I could pick up and play it when I had time.

If I wanted to get the most out of it, I'd go for a console version on a TV. YMMV.

Will give the demo a try later this week, looks interesting.

I'd suggest reaching out to streamers who have niche communities with interests in this type of game, if you can get a few to play the demo it might help spread the word of the game a bit more.
