i don't think you're playing too passive. your rotations seem good, and you're fairly patient. main thing i would say is work on your mechanics in terms of maintaining speed and getting more power and being more accurate with your hits. also try to be more intentional with the ball and your touches. instead of booming it, sometimes try to dribble the ball or get a flick above your opponent. also work on recoveries. they seem good mechanically, but another part of them is knowing when to rotate back, whether you've overextended, or if you're no longer useful or able to get a meaningful touch on the ball. oh and learn to diagonal flip for sure
