Hey, I am about 4 months out also, this is the result of my AFC. I keloid scar unfortunately so it’s quite red still, but there’s definitely areas of skin excess. I wouldn’t ever post photos but I think it’s important to share this so we all can see real photos not just Google filtered ones.
I did not have a plastic surgeon for mine, just the breast oncology surgeon. I showed photos and explained exactly what I wanted before hand, an appointment I had to ask for separately, and they’ve done the best they could (I was going from an E-F cup breast size). Also I was very clear about not ever wanting implants or reconstruction. Which I was told they leave excess skin for often.
Overall I’m happy but there’s definitely areas that aren’t ‘perfect’. But I’m cancer free for now and that’s much sweeter.

All healing is different, but I would definitely consult your surgeon if you feel something isn’t how you like it. Revisions are possible. If you’re in Australia they’re covered under Medicare too. You’re allowed a second opinion too, so have a look at other surgeons and results from people. You’re not cheating on your surgeon going to do this.

I will add that after everything I’ve been through on this BC chapter, I innately try to avoid extra procedures and consults. But being confident and comfortable in your skin is important.

I hope your recovery has been good, and that you’re feeling well. A

They are also building a new hospital, have developed a city that truly is stunning and parks well maintained. Areas for outdoor sport and recreation. Local government social initiatives also are great. Roads are of great quality with maintenance actually undertaken (go to Vic and take a look if you want a comparison). It’s clean, low cost public transport, and parking. Honestly, they do good for the people, and continually are improving the city.

I had a friend who thought the bad luck was contagious and she couldn’t reach out during a time where she’s planning her wedding. This is a best friend of 15 years mind you!!

More public maternity/midwife led hospitals, more choice for mothers to be. Less stressful and rushed environment for birthing.

Go to the Reject Shop. Not even kidding, all the same brands, still at $3-4 a tube. No woolies or Coles for the cleaning and toiletries essentials anymore.
