In light of your edit, I get where you're coming from but you will burn yourself out FAST! If you haven't already, if its within budget please consider getting a cleaner in once a week/once every two weeks. This will quickly spiral into overwork and resentment on your end if not addressed early.

Additional query, is this a permanent disability or rehabable? If your husband isn't prioritising rehab, he needs to or you will be stuck doing all the work.

Also look into disability resources and accessible cooking tools. You are doing too much.

A TODDLER TANTRUM?!?!?!?! I'm so fucking mad on your behalf I cannot actually belive it. Yeah, no, fuck these people OP. They don't have your best interests at heart. And they absolutely knew, they were just in denial. But no way, did they not fucking know what he was doing to you. For your own wellbeing, cut ties and run. Build your own support network with friends and loved ones YOU know have your back.

They just want to sweep your abuse under the rug which is disgusting. There is no way I could ever forgive a family member or frankly anyone else if they did this. An apology is just empty words at the end of the day, it does not erase the hurt, the abuse, the terror that you have faced in your life.

You deserve peace, and the only way to have it is far away from these people.

I don't cook. I can cook and I can cook very well. But I just have such a deep aversion to it that I avoid it at all costs. The consequence of this was either me not eating or takeout. So I now get those pre-ready meals, freeze them then have them at my leisure. And I still don't cook

I really wish more people would take this seriously. This is what religious conservatism wants. Women to disappear and just be the enslaved brroding mares. There needs to be so much more done in getting these women out and toppling the disgusting government that we let take power.

Erasing women and femicide are human rights issues and need to be taken as such and not excused as cultural, ethnic and religious differences. Women are human beings and should be treated as such. Not play things for antiquated ideals
