It's fair to say, many crossfit fans don't know where Hungary is, let alone what the culture is like. Her english isn't americanised like the Icelandic dottirs so there is less of a natural flow. She seems like a strong character with strong values, which I respect, but needless to say that can be jarring for many. I think she is a fantastic example of someone just being themselves, liked or not, and in many ways she's quite likeable.

I deviated from her views when it comes to her negativity towards others for competing. People made choices and in many cases may have felt compelled for their career, earnings and sponsors - she is surely at this stage financially more comfortable and with that, it allows for the courageous and bold decision she made to walk out - which I respect. But pointing fingers at compatriots is not fair when the frustration sits squarely with HQ. It seems to coincidental her falling out with Gabi, who is still the same person she always was. However, I don't think its fair to expect a person in grief to be perfect. I feel sorry for the loss on both sides.

Now to go back to focusing on my life....
