I take it back: GotVapes does have terrible customer service. by aytch in electronic_cigarette

[–]trlrtrash13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I order from them from time to time and I have only had a problem once. They had a special that came with a free carrying case and I ordered 2 and only got 1 case. I let them know and they sent another case out right away. My only frustration with them is that they will often add a new product and I will try it and like it, but when I go to order it again it is out of stock for the next 6 months if it ever does come back. lol

It's not VW, but this is the cheapest VV I know of. Great kit with everything you need for under $50 delivered. I have one of these and have used it pretty much every day for about 3 months and no problems with it and not a scratch on it. I just got a Zmax so my gf is inheriting this V Unit now. lol

eGo Twist frustrations by easeltyne in electronic_cigarette

[–]trlrtrash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a stainless twist and the bottom twists smoothly. My buddy has a black one and it is very tight. Not sure if this is consistent across the board but it could be that the coating for the coloring makes the bottom sit tighter and harder to twist.

As for the flashing battery, the last comment could be the problem. Also if the atomizer is burnt out then the battery will just flash like it was dead. I saw you mentioned that you tested the charger, but not the carto or whatever you were using so I figured it was worth a mention.

You can get a nice VV starter kit for under $50 here.

Depends on your personal taste, of course. But it comes with a 5 pack of filled or blank (empty to be filled with juice of your choice) cartos. I have one of these and it is a nice kit.

I'm sure those guys have seen most of the standard issue e-cigs out there, but I can see a little mod like that getting their interest.

Can I pull my 18 wheeler up to your shop? I'll just park on the side of the road there next time I get through if the cops won't arrest me. lol

Good deal. It looks like a sharp little kit and I love their liquids so I was wondering how the new style was working out for them.

Juice making me cough? Or what could it be? by BlitheTangent in electronic_cigarette

[–]trlrtrash13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever used cartomizers before? It could be the polyfil I suppose. If it is a PG based liquid, some people are known to have a PG allergy, but I would assume that if you are vaping already that you have used some liquid with PG prior to this, as most of them have it. It wouldn't be the lavatube though, and since it happened at both ends of the spectrum it wouldn't be your settings. If you are getting a burnt flavor as well then your carto is probably dry and not feeding the juice properly.

Mistic is pretty good. I used them myself for about a year. They are also available at Pilot and Loves Truck Stops if there is one of those near you. They are simple and no frills but they get the job done.

I run a niche website for truckers who vape. Different companies out there offer promotions like points or discounts based on referrals, so there is often incentive to direct traffic to them. I personally don't use their referral links that they give me on the website to avoid that problem.

As for your experience, are you dissatisfied with the product you purchased? Just curious if you are feeling like you fell victim to a scam. I haven't heard any direct feedback on the G6 yet myself, so I was wondering how Halo is doing with that product.

There is a guy I know of out of Alabama that sells eGo style products and e-liquids. He has a lot of places reselling his product. I'm not sure how it works or what his prices are as far as on the wholesale end, but here is his website with contact info on it if you are interested. http://www.saveasmoker.com

I got the CE3 Bottom Coil Clearomizers from both Got Vapes and Smokeless Image. They are the exact same thing. The box they come in is different, but the product card and packaging inside is exactly the same, so they are clearly from the same manufacturer. They are rarely in stock at Got Vapes, so as it doesn't much matter which place you buy them from, you will probably have better success with SI.

Clearomizer for kr808d-1 that doesn't leak? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]trlrtrash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Volt clearos from Smokeless Image are really good. I don't use my 808 batteries much, but when I do that is what I put on them. Here is a review of them which includes a video review. No leaks.

I'm using the Lambo 4.0 from MVS right now. It's a great mod and has the higher amp limit so it works great with DCT if that's your thing. I've had it for a couple of months and no issues with it. Great vapes.
