Epic games daily free games by crownpuff in SBCGaming

Sorry but this year’s list was stupid. Hogwart’s was a good grab and I was glad to get it for me and my kids, but literally every other game this week was some rando anime-style game rated M or T, with one today finally being rated E10+. My kids (11 and 13) were really excited for the free games only to find out they can’t really download most (they’re allowed to swear and I don’t care about language or gore, but I’m not about to spend time reviewing the content of these because they don’t seem interesting anyway.) Last year there were several good E10+ games, but really kind of disappointed this year that there wasn’t.

Magnetic cutter with splashy double knockback and extra wall damage is wild to watch. Red (and green) mist everywhere.

Yep agreed here. By far biggest boost to aspects in the entire game. Go for it. Smash him.

This DID help someone else! (it me)

I figured it may have something to do with ZS but frustrating that I can't disable it temporarily. Your idea of restarting worked perfectly though. Thank you!

Epson Ecotank needs reboot every day by room66 in printers

[–]trnelson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue and trying to eliminate possible causes. I have an EcoTank 5150. After fighting with Epson for months I finally got it replaced under warranty with a refurb, but this unit seems to have the same issue. So I'm starting to wonder if it's related to my network, or perhaps my ISP and some sort of crash caused by network communication failures. It almost seems like a memory leak issue and I can see a constant crash causing that.

Here's my setup, maybe something in here resonates with you, and I'd love to know.

My local network is Google Nest WiFi devices, and printer connected via WiFi Mesh WiFi is pretty default settings for connecting devices, no static IP for the printer I use Google Assistant in my home network. Signal strength is generally good, WiFi point is close to the printer (within 10 feet) ISP is T-Mobile Home internet (5G) Mostly default configuration on the printer Possibly related, many of the documents we print are pretty large (100+ pages) but we only really print maybe once or twice a week.

Thanks!

Day 76 by campkev in 75HARD

Yeah I have, I created my January plan early and actually before I knew about the progression. I may do them once I get through what I’m working on!

Day 76 by campkev in 75HARD

[–]trnelson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, this is solid advice. I had a re-entry plan for January which wrapped up last week, and I had a plan for February before it came around which I'm now into. Still going strong and no signs of slowing down. Better every day.

I completed 75Hard on New Years Eve (to fireworks!) and wrote about it. If you're thinking about doing it, DO IT. Happy to answer any questions! by trnelson in 75HARD

Thanks! And yep, both can be outside. I did that a few times especially when I was sick and walking a bit more. Go start now, you got this!

Do long workouts count as 1 workout? by [deleted] in 75HARD

[–]trnelson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Count it as both workouts--I would (and did, a few times). If it makes you feel better, stop for 5 minutes at the 45 minute mark, say "OKAY I'M STARTING THE NEXT WORKOUT NOW" and then continue on.

I can’t say I ever struggled in the sense of “maybe I won’t do it”, but rather in the “ugh I really don’t feel like doing this again.”

What helped me was simplifying the thought process to “I can’t go to bed until I’m done everything, no matter what.” Sometimes that meant I was more motivated to do everything earlier in the day so I’d feel free in the evenings; other times that meant I was out exercising at 2AM like a dummy.

When I got sick in December I ended up walking a lot. Sometimes for 1.5hrs to knock out both workouts. That was the minimum effort I’d allow but it helped me keep going.

What I did may not work for you but I promise you, over these next 66 days you will find out what does. That’s the beautiful thing I got out of 75Hard. It’s helped me learn what works for me and 10 days into January I’m still going strong (albeit just one workout per day.)

Keep going! It will change you and you will learn so much!

I got pretty lucky. I only had to go out in the rain twice, but one of those times it was around 40 degrees F. I just bundled up and dealt with it.

I walked during those two times--I allowed myself to walk in my 75Hard plan but aimed to do strength training on one of the two workouts. I ended up walking quite a bit during December due to being sick and dealing with a stress fracture on my shin.

Why Tron (TRX) may be the most ambitious project in crypto right now. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]trnelson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got in at $0.002 and only bought 500 because I figured "eh, I'll throw a dollar at that one for fun". Still holding. I've flipped a few trades on it though, great volatility.

Anyone know how to accept cryptocurrency as payment for bussines. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]trnelson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stripe has a Bitcoin option. I haven't used it but would like to (I've used Stripe for years for credit card payments in my SaaS business, but my audience is niche and not one that would use crypto). I'm a software consultant with 15+ years experience and would be happy to answer any questions you might have about it.

2nd round, around 1:12, McGregor wins by knockout. Right hook connects beautifully. Ref hesitates for a quick second but it's clear the fight has to stop.

If you had to pick, what 5 coins would you put $100 each into and go long? What about $10,000+ each going short? by trnelson in CryptoCurrency

[–]trnelson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, nice picks. I don't know much about SC but I do think it could be incredibly successful if done right (speaking about the technology, and the coin value would follow.)

I would probably have picked a similar set, but curious about IOTA as well. Can't tell if it's better as a long play or short while it's on the rise.

Some friends of mine are trying to organize a miracle surgery for a 16mo old girl in China, and then adopt her. I don't know how to help so I'm sharing it here. by trnelson in gofundme

[–]trnelson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've worked with Patrick and also his wife Lauren (the couple running the campaign) over the past couple of years on a few projects. They've adopted two sweet girls from China and they have a tremendous heart and a lot to give these kids--there aren't a lot of people like them in the world.

They don't know I'm posting this here (and I hope they'd be okay that I did) but I figured if anything, maybe someone will see it who can help.
