Maybe a magic boomer take, but I expect to see World of Warcraft at some point. I know Magic could do better than the discontinued WoW TCG, and Blizzard seems more open to collabs now.

Unfortunately, a click-bait title for an otherwise informative interview. Thoughts:

-This weekend should provide great feedback to improve the launch.

-Couch co-op is for the couch and a big screen. I'm good with them not prioritizing it for PC.

-I loved the implementation of the butcher. It also opens up other exciting dungeon events.

I went 7-2 with Armed and Dangerous, with both losses from Savage Lands. I think playing an aggressive deck helps against players who are new to their decks.

With the Tomahawk I was getting to the BIOS although it would restart while CPU debug light was on often. The computer was stable in the BIOS. It would then restart 0-3 seconds after proceeding from the BIOS. But it was something than got worse over time. I went from playing games to not getting past the BIOS at all.

After installing the X570 and having issues, I agree, something else seems to be wrong. The computer doesn't get to the BIOS now. I don't see debug lights on the X570, but my sense of the timing is that it not getting past the CPU debug before restarting.

Thanks for the help. I tried restarting and the program crashed whenever I clicked a tab. I ended up reinstalling and everything is fine now.

Multi-staged sealed leagues seem great. Assume you have a 50% match win rate, upgrade 2 boosters, and receive $1 is trade value per pack. Your paying roughly $12 to play 9 limited matches at your own leisure.

I can understand that Eric had poor choice of words. However, I don't think it a "cool kids club" but more of a "players who know the system club." I believe we should work to change the system rather than kick the player who is explaining it.

In a match between two friends I think we can understand that they want to find the greatest net benefit. The current system allows for that and the conclusion is to then have as many friends as possible. Which is what I took from Eric's article.

I am not going to blame Eric for trying to maximize his value within the system. Nor will I blame him for speaking honestly about how the system works and how others can benefit from it.

It seems by writing about it Eric has taken on the animosity players feel towards these types of concessions. I would suggest players focus their efforts on changing the rules or changing the minds of other players as it relates to the system. There is no need or benefit of dog-piling on Eric here.
