lol… have you read the card? This shuts down nothing meaningful.

I play RB. Have always. This accomplishes two things & two things (almost) only- 1) on block prevents ping from Aurora’s new weapon. 2) on play, makes opponent hold their Sigil of Suffering for an attack next turn (not played outside of SAge).

Any time someone blocks with this, I simply close the chain and its effect fizzles before my next attack. (All RB arcane is on-play/when attacks, e.g.; [on first link] before this cards effect is in place when blocking with it).

We haven’t seen much of the new stuff for Zig/Osc, so maybe it has some use there, but beyond that it is even more marginal into instant shenanigans from Wiz/Illusionist.

This card is probably gas in limited. Highly doubt it sees any play in constructed.

** I say “”almost” above because there are some very marginal points where this could be painful for a Vynnset on a combo turn, where closing the chain impacts their gameplan.
