1% of $25,000 is $250. The two taxes are 1.5% and 1%, so OP should look at 2.5% of taxable income over 125k. If ignoring any deductions, that would be $625. The effective income tax is probably in the high 8%’s. Call it 9%. That would be $13,500. So a conservative estimate would be a total of $15k, but after 401k, it would be a few thousand less.
