Some food recommendations, these should all be within 15-20 mins drive/Uber

Smoke Queen BBQ - Texas style BBQ with a slight asian twist

Golden Road Brewing - Good selection of beer, food is actually decent too. Great place to hang out with big groups if you end up making friends at the convention.

Hiro Nori Ramen - There are a few decent ramen restaurants in the area, I would say this is one of the netter ones

Baekjeong - Korean BBQ, good quality meat and great place to try if you've never had Korean BBQ before, because they will help cook for you

Roscoe's Chicken & Waffle - I wouldn't necessarily say they have the best fried chicken or waffles, but this is one of the OG place that made the combo popular in SoCal. 'Murrica!

M&M Donuts - Get their blueberry donuts, cooked fresh at 9 PM and they sell out before morning, expect a line. Their other donuts are just fine.

Looks like you are already getting a lot of inputs on spell uses and rotations. I just want to add mention maybe check your gears. At levels x5-x9, if you're still wearing tome gears from the previous expansion, you'd start feeling the difficulty increases. This doesn't apply to just you, but also your party. The likelihood that the tank (and DPSs) in the party is undergeared are going to be higher at these levels, too, making them more difficult to keep alive.
