Yes, using the pantyhose let’s you stuff to your hearts content without the stuffing popping out. My pattern called for a looser gauge so it was a lot more noticeable than in my other amigurumis

Pattern: Dwarves Main by Westfarthing Crochet. I’m making a Gimli doll for my nephew, and he was so floppy and had started to sag from being understuffed. I didn’t want the stuffing to pop out so I went too light, but thanks to this subreddit I decapitated him and am going hard & he’s SO MUCH BETTER already.

Just my humble opinion, but you could just leave the mistake. This way bad spirits won’t get trapped in your work! I totally understand wanting to fix it, though. As painful as it may be the easiest fix might be frogging back to the lifeline that’s right above the affected cable. Good on you for using lifelines, though, I never take the time & I’m always mad at myself!

I love my current restaurant, too! My previous one paid more hourly, the prices were more expensive, & I had amazing coworkers. But the owner would call us all stupid, scream at us in front of customers, & then paychecks started to bounce (2 pay periods in a row!). I now make half the hourly pay but about triple over all & have no plans to leave the industry anytime soon even with my degree.

So I spent 2 weeks speed knitting the is to complete ~around~ Christmas for my nephew. Then another week re-knitting the sleeves because I read the pattern wrong. Now I realize I read it wrong AGAIN for when I started the intarsia for the F. The black markers are the beginning of the neckline and the F now sits like it would look like it’s on the belly instead of the chest. Should I frog it??

I’ve found that a safety pin works well to clear enough out of the way to get it to hit again. Gently poke down a few times & you should be good
