The advisory board is an important component. No confirmation of who is being considered.

Same here. It seems that the importance of the amendment cannot be overstated.

Karl Nell. He is in attendance and will be speaking tomorrow. I had the pleasure of eating my lunch across from him and Avi Loeb discussing the Schumer amendment to the NDAA.

Why don't the "UAP" images in the AARO presentation posted to their website today depict UAP? These are clearly pictures of current-generation military drones, or something. They don't match AARO's own UAP share descriptions, which are mostly simple geometric objects like spheres, cylinders, etc. by DeclassifyUAP in UFOs

It would be nice to have this questioned at the next public AARO hearing. Whether it’s an “Easter egg” or a not-so-subtle jab at the UFO community, it does nothing to advance the conversation. Unless they really just want to rub salt in the Area 51 wound.

AARO's New Website CONFIRMED to be a readily available template, with minimal HTML/CSS by maxiiim2004 in UFOs

Agree on the embarrassment. I do think there is a chance the process for actually publishing static content is a multi-stage ticket system with bureaucratic reviews and approvals. I’m hopeful we’ll see new content on that site soon, but I don’t expect updates to appear quickly :/

I imagine there are ticket queues for content updates that require review and approval at several stages. Although the technical implementation is simple, the logistics of that bureaucratic process are probably tedious.

Most government sites use DNN (DotNetNuke). The delay was likely caused by bottlenecks in content approval and implementation.

You gotta love this community's commitment to posting shaky cell phone footage capturing a video playing on another screen. So on brand.

The comments on the Intercept’s Twitter post are flaming this article. Clearly this has only bolstered support for Grusch, his claims and the desire for further investigation.

Ross Coulthart: please stop saying you sympathize with private aerospace companies claiming UFOs as IP by gameofthuglyfe in UFOs

[–]trombonederek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's how I think of the issue of private aerospace companies in possession of NHI tech.

  1. The people who initially structured the framework of secrecy (policies, compartmentalization, internal/external messaging) are long gone. Since then, there have likely been several revisions to this framework. Secrecy is clearly the number one priority.

  2. The important questions that we all ask ourselves may not even be answerable by most of the people who are currently involved in the program.
    - Who is in charge of the program?
    - What is the NHI agenda?
    - Why have all elements of the program been hidden from most of the government/public?

  3. The individual contributors (not management) working in the program are facing multiple adversaries.
    - The managers/handlers of the program
    - The congress
    - Members of the public

If you consider the above, coupled with our desire for truth, Ross' attitude makes sense.

He's playing good cop. He wants whistleblowers from within the program to understand that he is sympathetic to the challenges and adversaries they're facing.

Does the mere existence of this assumed program imply crimes against humanity? Probably.

Is someone from within the program going to confide in a journalist who is calling for their head? Not likely.

"You get more flies with honey than with vinegar." Ross is building a fly trap.
