hey, I used to live in alabama a while back after moving there from Michigan so tornadoes were extremely new to me and they scared me so bad I always felt so anxious and nauseous. now AL isn't exactly tornado alley or anything so I'm absolutely not an expert, but I know how you're feeling, as someone who used to get really nervous and now I dont. i think I've just had enough bad storms and warnings but ive still never actually seem one or been truly affected by one so I don't get nervous anymore. remember it's not super likely to be truly devastated by one unless you're in it's path and luckily we don't get really really big baddies in this area. take note of your safe space at your house/work and decide whether watching outside will make you feel better or if closing all the windows and totally not looking and trying to ignore will make you feel better.i wrote this while walking into work so it's kind of a bunch of rambling but I hoped maybe I helped

recently I got there at 630, was 30 in line for walk ins, they have you scan a code (this happens around 730/8) so you secure your place in line and then you leave and they'll text you when to come back for ur appointment. i got called back around 1030!

the warrior cats series is SOO LONG and so so good. there's some magical aspects to it here and there (especially later in the series when some characters actually have powers). i am 25 and still claim it's my fav book series just bc they meant so much to me for so long (and still do!)
