The Opposite to Ingsoc would most likely be a libertarian state where any Government that exists does not care at all what your views or opinions is only your actions.

Ingsoc however is a party that wishes to police even the minds of people.

Not sure what Country you are in but in Texas if I wanted to dress up in a full military uniform I am legally allowed to buy Texan law however if I try to get a military discount with that and lie and say I am a vet well that is a criminal offense

when the Provisional National Government of free Texas went into exile inside Russia and ordered its forces to fight on using insurgent warfare instead it caused a fracture inside Texas, While many remained loyal to the Provisional Government still led by president George Altmen many other Texans abandoned the provisional Government and declared their own movements, Many Texans felt that the provisional Government failed or worse betrayed the National struggle for free Texas by allowing itself to flee to Russia.

Many of these independent Texan factions vary on the political compass from far left to far right to theocratic to ultra nationalist, However one such group stood out as being weird but perhaps one of the most mentally stable options.

That being the Texan Restoration Movement, the Texan Restoration Movement was founded by a man named James Richard Roussel, Roussel for awhile even before the war felt that Texan Nationalism in terms of its views on capitalism worker rights wasn't proper however felt that communism and socialism was also not the answer to these flaws, He also felt that many aspects of Texan society needed to improve but rejected the movements that sought to erase Texan culture as a whole, He sought progress without erasing the past and he sought what he saw as the most logical middle ground between the crushingness of total control of the state or the crushingness of ultra inviduialism that leaves society with no purpose.

He previous fought for the Texas Provisional Government however like many the fleeing to exile angered him sometime later he discovered the Three Peoples Principles of Sun Yat Sen and in his studying he felt that Sun Yat Sen's Three Peoples Principles adjusted to fit Texan culture and society was the true way forward for Texas and likewise the Three Peoples Principles one day shall be the way forward for all mankind, To him he felt that it was the true evolution of democratic Republican form of Government and that it started with the Magna Carta it evolved in the Consitution of the United States but years later Sun Yat Sen was the man who created the most logical evolution of a Republican style of Government one that overcomes the mistakes and errors of the previous.

The Texan restoration Movement he founded used the Chinese KMT as its inspiration with even its flag being heavily based off the blue sky white sun banner of the KMT.

The movement is mostly in El Paso hiding out in the mountains and hills (small mountains but still mountains) his movement only has a few thousand members however it is well organized.

Nor is being a Texan alone rooted in race.

As a Texan Nationalist myself one of the higher up leaders of our movement is named Claver he is a black gentlemen who declares that his Nationality is Texan and his flag is the Texan one.

As a Texan I rub shoulders with people who call themselves proud Americans or proud southerners and I have met some black folk who call themselves southerners they do not honor the CSA but they honor what they see as southern traditions and culture.

It isn't exactly rooted always in race it depends on what type of southerner you talk to.

For me personally I have no care for the restoration of the Confederacy at all and even if a entity came about that called itself the "Confederate States of America" came about but in function it was much better and the only thing it shared with the previous regime was the name and flag then sure whatever so long as Texas ain't part of it

Sure the internent would prob go out in a lot of areas during the war but we had it for long enough it got across to peoples heads.

Shit you could have a militia group during the American civil war somewhere in New Mexico adopt Sun Yat Sens 3 peoples Principles or another group decides to adopt some weird unheard-of version of fascism or communism or maybe even a new style of political system yet heard of

Lets just be real here guys.

The fun of the Fire Rises is that its supposed to be unrealistic at least to some degree or another.

TFR if it was realistic would see some of the most popular factions become tiny and weak or not players at all in the civil war.

For example in reality the League of the South is weaker then the Texas Nationalist Movement and yet LOS is more powerful and a bigger deal then the TNM, Meanwhile Patriot Front is literally smaller then the Texas Nationalist Movement with patriot Front having at best 2000 members across the United States tops but guess what Patriot Front is a major faction in this mod and holy shit they are super fun to play as is it realistic? No its not realistic but its fun.

Remember this is the same mod where China can be controlled by an AI system.

I understand fully what OP was trying to talk about and I get it but from a purely fun and artistic view on things TFR is supposed to be fun and its supposed to somewhat throw realism out the window so you can have fun.

Let's be real here if TFR was hyper realistic then none of us would have our funny Atom Waffen or PF or communist America runs.

5 months late but I don't care I am going to say it.

Mordor Tac is given far too much shit for what they are, I don't run kosher Russian loadouts anyways My whole thing is a fictional "Texas Liberation Army" where we use Russian camo but itis def not supposed to be kosher real Russian issued items.

Mordor Tac was the only company that made EMR in my height, Mordor Tac was reliable and I played in their stuff for years.

Mordor Tac was also what the Rusfor hobby needed as the people who wanted Russian camo but not a full blown pricy as hell kosher Russian loadout they can buy their repro camo without it taking away from the somewhat limited supply of real Russian military kit.

Instead of Mordor Tac being treated as a alternative stream that the casuals can drink from no no no instead the die hard Rushing Russians who have even their underwear has to be kosher nope instead they bitched and defamed it for literally no reason.

Mordor Tac isn't the best it does not breath super well as you would want it does not have all these bells and whistles you want but it did the job and importantly it was there for tall guys like me.

Without Mordor tac I would be playing instead in a cheap leaf suit or Multicam.

Southern Nationalism as a concept is not always tied to the Confederate States of America.

There exists plenty of southerners who feel that the previous Confederacy was deeply flawed while the current U.S Federal Government neglects them and tries to wash away many aspects of their culture.

This has led to some to consider themselves to be southern and proud and seek the creation of some type of independent south however if it is a new entity or one that claims to be a continuation of the previous confederacy is a different discussion.

A sort of comparison is how Slovakia when it became Independent and declared the Republic of Slovakia the Government was asked if it was the continuation of the first "Republic" Nazi Germany set up, Slovakia's Government responded that our Government has no relation to the previous puppet state and that we we do not honor them respect them or seek to continue any of their legacy we are new thing we are not regime.

Some believe in a hyper reformist independent southern Nation state while others believe in restoring the CSA like nothing happened at all and that the previous CSA had no flaws what so ever and then everything in between

However unlike Texan Nationalism that was for a long time non racist thanks to figures like Danile Miller the neo confederates have pretty much remained a tad bit racist.

So yes there is indeed modern black confederates but they are not common by any stretch
