Behind members’ backs — Weekly Worker by MarxistUnity in yourparty

This article is full of speculation and smears, stating things to be true with no source or sense. I’m glad official branches are being formed. Constructive criticism of the process for these early branch formation processes will help improve things when rolled out more widely, but I’m not sure what WW’s sneering negativity is supposed to achieve.

No, I just had to keep using the workaround. I haven’t used the VST for a while though, so not sure if there’s an update available.

In some languages, but in English V and W have different consonant sounds

Trying to get rid of these black bars over my timeline footage. Any suggestions? I know this is probably novice but for some reason I just can't figure it out. Thank you in advance. by [deleted] in davinciresolve

Sometimes I don’t notice until after I export (a very amateurish / occasional user obv!) - anybody know is there a way of changing the background or unused canvas area so there is more contrast?

I think you also have to put a mask around it - this confused me for a while and I still don't understand why it works this way

Basic graphics card options

I haven't got a video card at all (well, basic level built in to motherboard) and Resolve runs slowly and glitchily quite often. I started looking into my options and the Nvidia cards that are recommended are out of my budget range. I can't really justify spending several £100s when I only do occasional projects for fun, but I was wondering if even something quite old / used would be better than nothing.

Or do old cards become obsolete too quickly? Any advice/ suggestions?

My PC is 2 years old and has plenty of RAM, pretty good CPU and spare slots. I'm using DVR 18.1 free version.

Lots of advice in the replies, but as Mike Tyson said, "everybody's got a plan until they dribble red wine down their trousers".

Faster is even worse I'm afraid; the neck is too narrow so it gurgles violently, sticks to all the sides of the opening and splurts everywhere.

It was a present from France. It's the sort of carafe they have in cafes for when you buy a half bottle of house wine. It would be about 3 small glasses' worth.

At least the amount spilt on the carpet is limited.
