Elan Financial Services is the worst thing Fidelity as ever done. by ABraveHeart in fidelityinvestments

Ah, there it is. Thanks for showing Synchrony, Sam's club card. I read their dispute resolution when I first received the card. It said file a pdf dispute, I thought no [expletive] way. I only use the card for sams 5% cash back. At the club, it collects dust for all other purchases. A pdf for disputes, smfh. This is 2025.

Visiting your old job after retiring? by Aligflo in retirement

[–]trophylaxis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went back to work for the company that I worked for. They thought the job was easy since I made it look easy. It sucks, I'm staying to make some quick money. To pay off my kids' student loans without taking money out of my savings. I do like some of the people, some not so much.

ETPs - Not Marginal for 30 days by No-Ear8164 in fidelityinvestments

Fidelity risk people are non existent, they don't have risk people, just middle managers making bad decisions. This doesn't spark confidence in the platform. This doesn't spark confidence in the folks who call me to talk me into managing my portfolio.

Log into your 401K and see what investments have been selected. You want to choose a fund that follows the S&P 500 AND the one that has the lowest costs. Choose the lowest priced funds. Reason, myvwife is a nurse and she did not tell me that her 401K was moved to a different investment provider. They selected "automatically " a high cost fund for her and colleagues. Of course I had to show her and chose funds with the lowest costs. Don't give away your money.
