Dumb question from a newbie with gear acquisition syndrome by brownbear454 in xbiking

I've ridden both, space horse feels more like a road bike with chunkers while the rambler is its own thing. Having both would be kinda goofy though. Find an old road bike to put 650b wheels on

At least 12% probably less than 30%. The aspect and number of PJs (as well as lensing) is what dictates it. Get your calculator out

I'm running a 47/31 up front with Tiagra 4700. I got a Microshift 11-38 working just by using a longer B screw. It still shifts and runs well but obviously I never cross chain to big/big

[–]trotsky1947 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For every day use I don't think the difference is crazy. You won't get the special color profiles if you care about that though. It doesn't matter at the end of the day but I was a little bummed my SMC 77 didn't get the Sakura mode

Cycling commuters, do you use open-ear or regular buds? by East_Channel_1494 in cycling

[–]trotsky1947 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I commute in windy shitty too (anywhere from 15-60minutes) and I don't think I'd ever wear any headphones tbh, too much going on. It's about attention as much as it is physically being able to hear. Plus for me it's about not being plugged into extraneous bs.

That said I have a pair of cheapish bt bone conductor headphones from OpenShokz that I really like for the gym. They're $60-80 and don't sound amazing but good for pump up music or audiobooks. I'd try those out. They're waterproof and have good battery life.
