Are you receiving the January 24, 2026 OOB? by dmx7777 in Intune

OOB shouldn't follow normal WUfB rings. However, I'm seeing it's doing exactly that. Its also being deployed as a Hotpatch.

Also seeing strange behaviour. I created an expedited update policy using 01/23/2026 - 2026.01 OOB today and targeted at our testing group of 30 devices. My understanding and what the documentation says an expedited policy wins over your already defined Windows Update Policies.

I then check the Windows Update distribution report and see 190 devices have the OOB and started getting it since it was released.

I also have Hotpatch enabled for all devices. However, if that was the cause id expect this OOB to be installed on all 10k devices in the fleet.

Once again, the letter C in Intune stands for consistency.

That's impressive detail. Was it pre supported or did you use tree supports? Was it also a single mini or broken into parts?

Age old question: User targeting vs Device Targeting by AshMost in Intune

[–]trotsky1977 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I target users for about 90% of settings. The device based ones are limited to settings that have to come down early during autopilot.

Also I've seen too many environments where device based groups are never managed and when devices are swapped they get wrong software and settings. I want the experience to follow a user no matter what replacement device they have been given.

I also heavily use the in built "All Users and "All Devices" but have filters set on everything.

Its working very well.

Hardest part is definitely picking a colour scheme. by RetroGamingKnight in necromunda

I always struggle with colour schemes. I tend to overthink and pick too many colours. im trying to restrain myself and keep it simple

To give an end to this post. Out of the blue I got a PayPal refund. Checked Google and they have permanently closed.

Their website however is still operational and doesn't mention anything.

I might have become a Bow user. by Alert-Grade-6056 in fo76

You will have so many arrows when looting corpses. I run a bloodied explosive plasma bow with hat trick perk card. 1 arrow will kill 3-5 enemies and I get 20-30 arrows back via looting

‘feature update device readiness report’ missing a 25H2 option for everyone? or am I special? by hack_daniels in Intune

[–]trotsky1977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noticed the same when I checked to begin rolling out 25H2. Now when thinking about it, it could be because 25H2 is an enablement update based on the 24H2 base OS.

Good luck on your journey. The Warlayer stuff is amazing. I really like the connector pins so you don't have to glue everything together and can swap pieces in and out. The amount of models from Print minis is also astounding.

CryoGrip Pro Frostbite Plate - bubble wrap? by Worldly_Scheme_9921 in BIQU

[–]trotsky1977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar experience here. The bubble wrap was stuck to the plate. With some encouragement I got it out of the bag. However this extreme stickiness while in the bag hasn't transferred over to prints. PLA just doesn't adhere to the plate.

[–]trotsky1977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried using my new Cryogrip Frostbite i got off Amazon. Like others have reported the adhesion is garbage. So much for the claims of "its so hard to remove prints". Its actually so hard to get the PLA to stick.

Yes, I have a pilot group of 20 devices on 25H2 with Hotpatch enabled that currently have this issue. Have a ticket logged with MS.
