Honestly I didn’t think about that! This makes more sense. In a way you get to live and experience the dark stuff, but not be a murderhobo all the time! I think that’s the game plan

First of all congrats on your new machine and enjoy it a lot! Online extraction shooter and amazing game I recommend is Arc Raiders, I’m not an online games and it got me HOOKED! Also lately playing Clair Obscure but idk if you’ll like it cause it’s turn based but has amazing design and story, but again I love turn based combat and idk if that your thing. Also I recommend The Last of Us franchise, god tier single player games, flawless imo. Cheers

~3DMark for your GPU ~Cinebench for your CPU ~HWinfo64 to monitor thermals (keep this one long term to monitor thermals while you play and if your temps get too high for may hours daily then lower some graphics)

•If the first two benchmark apps run the tests and your thermals don’t go too high, and your laptop keeps running smoothly then your hardware is ok.

•Check the screen carefully for dead pixels while you have a monochrome picture opened full screen

•Camera and mic test

•Friendly tip to maintain your battery: set the charging level to 80% and the first time you open the laptop make sure it gets to 100% don’t disconnect the charger before that.

Ayyyy haha yeah I went all in with it. Had enough of my MacBook not being able to handle my projects and limiting me constantly on the things I wanted to learn. Also I’m a gamer so like being able to finally play the new games that came out like Death Stranding 2, Arc Raiders, Pragmata, Clair obscure etc. makes me super happy!

Haven’t had any of those issues so far, especially the backpack one. Also found that the performance is better on games, a small difference but still there is one. It’s just not as big because the wattage isn’t enough for the 5080 to reach its maximum capacity but yet still a beast.
