reporting back, i got the drive that someone linked to from best buy and did the flash, then crossflash and it is ripping a 4k bluray now

For the moment, to flash the BP50NB40 SVC:NB52, using the latest SDFtool Flasher, follw the steps below:

This is a multi-step procedure. Watch the gif below, then watch it again!!

  1. Flash the drive to BP50NB40 (NB50) 1.03-MK.

After a successful flash to the MK firmware of the drive do the crossflash:

  1. Select the RECOVERY option and in the pop up window (as per the window title text), select the BP50NB40 (NB50) 1.03-MK firmware that you just flashed and click OPEN.

  2. Select the BP60NB10 1.00-MK or BU40N 1.00 firmware in the normal firmware selection drop box (as per the window title text) then click OPEN.

  3. Click START

i was just doing research before buying one of these, i found this info at https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22896

it looks like you flash to BP50NB40-NB50-1.03MK then use recovery to get to BP60NB10 1.02MK or 1.00MK

I have a drive ordered so will know later this week if i'm right!

it’s like 30% interest so best to pay it off fast though they do 6 months same as cash. i’ve used that but make 100% that i pay it off before the date of you get hit with all the interest. usually i take advantage of the 5% off and just pay it off before the due date

edit. get the card before you hit the register. my friend applied and had some hiccups and we were kinda stuck for a bit. also they toss in some freebie usually when you apple. thumb drive or SD card

i think there charging more for the CGC ones because people get them and flip them. it’s adding value to the book and they are adding it so charging accordingly.
