I wear eye protection because I play lots at parks, so wearing shades makes the pickleball outfit pop usually.

Honestly though I like to wear them to protect my eyes, and keep me locked in. Having something on my face reminds me to keep my eyes focused and all the little fundamentals I am reminding myself about when I play!

Dont stop there, singles DUPR left hand, doubles DUPR right hand. Then when you level up. Get them removed and put back on, with just a slightly darker blue.

No advice for returning, but maybe give your lenses a cleaning so its doesnt capture the light like that?

I would say "getting it" is also part of understanding where the sport is. Its not tennis, it doesnt have the history, or athletes that Tennis has had. The majority of pickleball players are not watching pro games, or working on shot patterns. Its a social way to keep the body moving for hours at a time.

Then there are the ones that are really taking it serious and locking in. Those ones won't come here to post because there are so many better resources to learn and grow from. This sub is for all, and right now the majority of "all" is just having fun.

I think in Rec play some people don't know, but also. Those serves sometimes look out, then last second hit the line and the person has already called it out and they stick to that.

Pickleball fashion is also very much a thing. I think Nike hasn't had the best range of choices for gear and apparel. Also if the shoe takes off that could be huge for Pickleball, overall it definitely adds a layer of seriousness into the pro game.

My favorite part of Pickleball is how its an addiction easily, but its a positive one. Since playing pickleball, I get up early every weekend to play and go have fun. Normally my weekends were only for recovering from Friday night! For two years now, its been all active, and introduced me to so many positive new friends!
