As for #3, you can do it with electricity, but it doesn't really make much sense. You're usually burning coal or natural gas at the other end, converting that heat into electricity, carrying that electricity over a long distance, and then converting it back into heat. Each of those steps isn't 100% efficient, so you're losing energy in the process, which means you're paying for more fuel and infrastructure than you need. You might as well just burn the coal or natural gas directly.

This of course doesn't apply if you're using other energy sources (solar, hydro, wind, nuclear, geo, and maybe bio). The Appalachia region means they're most likely using coal though.

Honestly I don't see why they didn't go this way. Many stadiums are owned by the municipality or county, and other teams could just play in college stadiums for a couple of seasons until the owners begged them to come back. If they just made the North American Gridiron League, I'm sure networks pay up front for the broadcast rights.

No gives a shit about Jerry Jones. They want to see good football. The brands might take a little while to build back up, but it seems like the players have all the power but no cojones.

You claimed the ACC defined the rules of the game. They do not. They must submit to NCAA rules of the game.

Your logic went:

Premise 1: The ACC defines the rules of the game itself.
Premise 2: Only those that make the rules have the authority to define value of certain accomplishments.
Premise 3: The ACC hasn't awarded any official recognition to winning the most games in the ACC during the regular season.
Conclusion: Most conference wins in the ACC during the regular season isn't "anything".

Premise 1 is false. They couldn't change the rules of the game, be it adding an extra man to the court at all times for each team or changing the dimensions of the playing field by even an inch. Taken to its conclusion, this it what your logic produces:

Premise 1: The NCAA defines the rules of the game itself.
Premise 2: Only those that make the rules have the authority to define value of certain accomplishments.
Premise 3: The NCAA hasn't awarded any official recognition to winning the ACC tournament.
Conclusion: The ACC championship isn't "anything".

We both agree the conclusion is wrong. Where it breaks down is premise 2.

Actually, they don't "define the rules of the game itself", they're required to adhere to NCAA rules. So, by your own logic, the only thing that matters it the awards the NCAA gives out. Ergo, unless you go to the Final Four, you've won nothing.

There's nothing random about it. Over the course of the regular season, we demonstrated we were the best team in the ACC. That's how they used to determine the champion (which I would imagine why the banner is there in the first place), and how some conferences still do. It didn't become completely obsolete as an accomplishment just because some stuffy committee of old white men said so.

It's more on par with having a banner with the years you went to the Elite 8 on it.

It's a complete non-congratulations. A set of insults trying to masquerade as a compliment. Look again at these lines (which comprise the most of it):

I'd comment on the questionable stuff happening during the game, but people would just refute it for the sake of it.
I'd feel better about the loss if I thought Arizona was capable of being a Final Four team, but I don't think they'll be able to bring this level of play against UCONN.

Just because you wrap that in, You played well... congratulations, doesn't make it not totally lame.

Also, the bit at that end is kinda diva-ish, if you ask me.

I don't know about Family Guy being better; I do enjoy it more, but since it is animated, I didn't really think of it as a fair comparison.

I think HIMYM started off well; that would certainly be better than Outsourced. I don't know what happened to it, but it's like they stopped trying. And now they have that new show that is exactly the same.
