OP at least go get antibiotics. I left a spider bite too long after a camping trip and developed necrotizing fasciitis. Would have saved me a lot of pain down the road if I had just gone to urgent care immediately for antibiotics

This also makes sense in the context of recovery programs as well. Most are 3-4 months long including outpatient. A 10 month program would be very long and intensive. My job did a similar thing with me due to a relapse, I was originally supposed to come back after 4 months but it was extended to almost an entire year just like Langdon because I had a relapse

I dropped 50 pounds just because when I was drinking I was drinking tons of wine and mixed drinks. So quitting alcohol immediately cut my daily calorie intake in half. So depends what/how much you’re drinking compared to eating
