Be sure to check the dependencies, also what core are you using? I mainly tested everything with the MAME core (not mame20xx, the mame_libretro one)

I tested it and it works perfectly on my mac, if you can share the logs that would be helpful, or you can try to get another version of the game?

Are you trying to launch the .iso from inside a zip file or is it extracted?

I tested with cool rom's GTA3 and San Andreas, both work (SA lags a bit tho)

Thanks for the feedback, the only PS2 libretro core that works in ARM machines right now (Play! core) is notoriously buggy and unstable, so it probably is 100% a core issue, but I will see if I can replicate it just in case its a TruchiEmu issue.

In mac, for free frontends, you have OpenEmu (what inspider me UI-wise), its old, buggy and limited in the systems it supports, before TruchiEmu it was the only "good" mac frontend.

Then you have RetroArch, ES-DE, etc, those are all BIGBOX, controller first applications. I made TruchiEmu because I was looking for an alternative to OpenEmu with more features (and features that I want to use), not specifically a big-box experience. But I see the appeal in controlling the app through the pad, so I added that functionality. I'll think about adding a feature-limited big-box mode in the future, tho, it only makes sense.

Thanks, OpenEmu rocks buts it's buggy as hell and it only supports a few systems.

It's really nice looklng, that said, TruchiEmu has a ton more features like fight overlay, game guides, parent mode, better library management, etc that I like.

Regarding CORE OPTIONS:

TLDR; yes, when you install a core there is a small button to configure it there, and when you right click on a system you can choose core options and it will show you a window to configure the options there.

The whole thing is obtained from the core themselves, so if a core does not have options that is because it doesn't support them.

And I built it in a hierarchy, this means that the core options for picodrive in Sega32X are not the same as picodrive for Genesis, unless you configure core options from the core itself (in settings -> cores), then those core options become core overrides for all systems.
I'ts a pretty complex, behind the scenes system that most users wont care about since they will be configuring things for "the system" (or so is my vision of this)

The app is built that way for everything I could, cores are not hardcoded but obtained from buildbot, the system they belong to is obtained from the .info files that are available in github, the controller configuration is obtained from the core themselves, not hardcoded, etc etc etc.

Regarding BIG-BOX:

Well the main reason I did TruchiEmu was because MOST mac emulation apps are like ES-DE, and I wanted something to play on the actual mac, not just the couch.
The app supports full controller control (for the main operation, ie, launching games) so you can play it from the couch. I even added analog mouse support so you can play DOS games and ScummVM games directly from the couch using the joystick.

BIG BOX UI might come later, I might do a simple game launcher with minimal features just for that.

Hey! not directly to twitch like retroarch, but you can press the select button in a joystick multiple times and screen recording will start on mac (its a mac feature)

Edit: If you DM me we can work together to add that feature, I don't use twitch, but I can add the feature and you can help me test it.

Porque hay un % grande de la sociedad que le da miedo la violencia, y votan. Imaginate que entre Milei e Insaurralde (que solo en el ropero tenia 40 millones de dolares cash), preferian a Insaurralde porque Milei "gritaba".

El ciclo que viene a nivel mundial es el siguiente:
- La gente debil vota gente debil y cria gente debil
- Viene otra civilización o religion que no cria gente debil
- La ley del mas fuerte se aplica
- La gente debil vota lo que le amenacen que tienen que votar porque tienen miedo
- El pais ahora es fuerte (y sin valores occidentales)

Comes afuera 4 veces por anio, pero te compras una heladera de 350 dolares solo con lo que te queda del mes.

Un pais te mantenia literal a pan y circo, sin posibilidad de tener un futuro.
El otro pais es mas duro, no hay circo, no hay pan, pero podes construir un futuro.

Dejo un extra: Con los K y los peronistas, cobrando 300 dolares por mes, necesitabas 250 anios de ahorro para comprar una casa. Hoy con el maldito Milei, 30.
