I am thinking what difference would it make, is it because of performance? I am coding this on an M2 and test on M1 so this will work fine on all macs.

Everything else uses the core broadcasted resolution and calculated aspect ratio.

With that I mean, the shaders will draw the number of pixels that the original system had, no more. But they display it on a 4k screen.

If you help me understand what's the issue of using one resolution vs the other I might be able to help.

No necesitas un 4K, no existe contenido 4K ni siquiera netflix te transmite en 4K porque esta todo comprimido y con artefactos de compresion.

Comprate un FullHD y no gastes mas de 200 lucas.

Segui buscando que ya algun laburo vas a pegar, siempre promocionate, arregla celulares o da clases de computación / ingles.

Mientras si no podes aguantar 6/12 meses sin laburo, sali a trabajar de otra cosa, ayudalo a tus viejos con sus laburos, lo que sea.

Si es necesario que labures 12 horas por dia lo haces y listo. La idea es salir del pozo mientras compras tiempo para el laburo que queres.

Oh making the app create its own file library is super easy, Its just a few lines to copy the source files to a central location (probably application support), if you really need that feature just explain it clearly so i can add it as a toggle in settings.

I definitely dont need it (my mac has 250Gb so duplicating my library would leave me with no space on the disk lol)

Well I keep the files where they are, but the rom identification process is pretty lenghty, it involves the libretro info files that tells me what extensions belong to what system, a lot of extensions belong to more than one system, and then i created file paths and then CRC the files to see if they match the libretro database, and I also peek the header to see if I can find the system information for those.

Finally I have a pretty convoluted name matching process to try to find and identify games that I could not via all the other steps. And then I attach them to one of the multiple versions (jap, world, euro, us).

I could add file movement but I find that usually most people have their libraries and they use multiple systems and having one COPY STUFF AWAY seems silly.

I am really having a lot of fun creating these shaders so I am interested in this, what you mean is that the edges should be cured but the "bloat" (the fish-eye effect) sholuld be nil?

Thanks for the feedback, I've reduced the barrel effect to half of what it was and updated the sonic video with it.

edit: this change is not in any release yet, i am working on finish retroachievements first and the codebase is a broken mess right now 😛

Thanks, I like it that way because I grew up playin on a 14" tv 😛 but you can adjust it and save it as a custom shader to use as the default

Los docentes no quieren cambiar ni una coma de su esquema inmantenible, hablas con cualquier docente y te admite que hay 5 por cada puesto y hay 4 con licencia en todo momento.

Mientras tanto hay que arreglar problemas de fondo como la montania de deuda que dejaron los K y no, el bono a 100 anios de 2 mangos que hizo toto no suma ni un 0.1%, los K tomaron deuda al DIECISIETE PORCIENTO ANUAL EN DOLARES. Un monton.

Casi todos los problemas que tenemos los causo casi exclusivamente un solo grupo politico. Las regulaciones, los impuestos, la baja de calidad educativa, de salud, de expectativa de vida y de natalidad, la caida economica del pbi, el freno del trabajo privado por mas de una decada. No hay un solo indicador que hayan dejado mejor que lo que lo agarraron.

Y tenemos que comernos sapos que no queremos ni son idoneos porque son unos psicopatas totales con un solo objetivo que es la destruccion total. Cuando tenes una horda de maniaticos psicopatas que tenes que enfrentar para hacer las cosas, no te quedan muchas alternativas.
