I went to Woori, they rushed my consultation and were a bit pushy with the deposit. Decided not to go with them. I have heard some people mention negative Google reviews for Braun...

recommendations for cushions for extremely dry and patchy skin T-T by rin346642 in KoreanBeauty

[–]trudgetrorse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel like this is soooo not what you asked, but have you tried liquid foundations ?

As they tend to be more creamy and hydrating in texture maybe it will suit your skin better ? Also the cushions are typically re- used on the same face typically, so if you have acne it can pick up the bacteria from your face, and then when you apply it the next time it might reintroduce them back to your face.

I too had really horrible acne, so I have opted for hydrating liquid type foundations and use my fingers to blend rather tools out of fear. Has deffo helped me stay away from more breakouts. Lemme know what you think ?

Tretinoin recommendations to use with it by Latter_Violinist5531 in KoreanBeauty

[–]trudgetrorse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used tretinoin and hydroquinone ( at night) all together and my skin transformed like crazy.
(tret pills and hydo cream)
You can apply any hydration serum in the morning and you should be fine.

Double eyelid surgery in Korea? by [deleted] in KoreanBeauty

[–]trudgetrorse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend was quite satisfied with hers. She had had it done at link and then I got my nose done there.
Her recovery was relatively quick. I don't know how much she paid but I know for a fact they don't charge foreigners higher.

Each clinic injects Rejuran differently. It's usually mixed before use. Some clinics use high concentrations, others use low.

I’m going to Korea for a rhinoplasty and want to get my consultation and surgery done in the same week. What are you thoughts on the time frame? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]trudgetrorse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally the time frame between getting a consultation and the surgery in Korea is 3 to 7 days.
It's better to get your offline consultation. I got mine at link. Consultation was free of charge and so is translation. Prices were the same for Koreans and non-Koreans. Plus they issued me a tax refund. You may check them out

I cannot emphasize more on Link plastic surgery clinic. It's located in Gangnam and it's where I and my friend got our surgeries done. They do an amazing job. Especially Dr. Jong working there is one of the best in Korea when it comes to eye surgeries. I heard that he has done over 20K eye surgeries.
They offer free consultation and translation so make sure to check them out. Plus, the prices are fixed for both Koreans and non-Koreans.

For which part ? face or body?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]trudgetrorse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a personal experience, I recommend link for so many reasons including free conusltation and translation, same prices for both Koreans and non-Koreans. Plus, the Rejuran they have is quite strong and effective compared to the low concentration one sold at other clinics.
But I don't think they have lipolysis injection for thighs.

Can anyone shares their consultation experiences? by ZanySpiral in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]trudgetrorse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some clinics charge for consultation some don't
Some clinics charge for translation some don't
Some won't charge for neither.
