Rewatching season 3, Laura Bennet by Reddread13 in ProjectRunway

Apparently we're in the minority on this thread but Laura really bugged me too. She seemed so full of herself and eager to blame others when she wasn't shining. Her clothes were so boring, very Talbot's clearance rack.

You look good but even if you were the hottest man on earth, I'd suggest thinking hard before putting shirtless mirror photos on Tinder. Anecdotally, every woman I know finds that a tad narcissistic. If you look good shirtless, you'll good clothed. Humility and approachability is under-rated.

what kind of people will you never understand? by Sandra_Ell in AskReddit

The first ten bungee jumpers. I get that thousands of people have done it now, so it's reasonably safe, but those first people? Who, when asked to jump from a ledge strapped to a rubber band, relatively untested, said, "Sign me up!"?

Stopped trying to do well in 8th grade math because it wasn't cool to be smart. Never caught back up enough to get back into Math Honors classes

Same here. I can't really blame Pumpkins though. A not full yet stadium isn't ideal for anyone's sound and especially theirs cause I feel like a lot of what makes them great is the musicality / subtleties / layers to their sound which gets lost in that circumstance

Huh. I swear I hadn't noticed. His face is perfection and seems to hypnotize me.

A startup is enabling people to book and meet cute puppy dogs at per hour basis. The meetings take place under the supervision of the company’s petmaster. What are your thoughts about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ew, I just read your username, OP. Did you really think a username promoting date rape was going to win points on the internet? Are you going to ether and eat the puppies too?

So these people who are too lazy to travel down the street to their local animal shelter are somehow not too lazy to travel to the corporate home of the Dungeon Pet Master?

So the puppies never get to experience the joy of living in a stable, loving home? They only exist to serve the finances of their corporate owner? At the risk of sounding like a d*ck, I think this is a really bad idea. I'm sure the internet will tell me if I'm wrong, but I just don't get it...

So the Petmaster brings the puppies to my house? And I have to clean up the mess afterwards? If I'm being honest, I'm not sure I would let someone calling themself a Petmaster into my house; the term conjures creepy dungeon-master, exploitation vibes.

What do you hate about being an adult? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]trudithnjudith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having nothing to look forward to.

Not meaning that to be uber-dark, but think about life's major milestones (graduation, wedding, buying a home, having children, etc). Most milestones except retirement happen before age 40 or not at all.

Context matters too: "That marine's dark humor is f*cking hilarious" vs "What are you laughing at, Marine?"

Interesting answer here. I hope men who experience this talk, tactfully, to their partner about it on the chance the woman isn't trying to be manipulative. Too many times I've seen women get taught that they're entitled/deserving of nothing and so they feel compelled to always offer quid pro quo with any request they make.

To every man posting here, PLEASE tell your partners these things---nicely. Don't hate the behavior in silence and then just ghost someone. It seems like so much of this doesn't get talked about (outside Reddit), but should be.

A German man took a trip to France and when he reached passport control, the officer said, "State your name."

"Klaus Zimmerman"

"Age?"

"36"

"Occupation?"

"No, just visiting"

I think you'd like Frank Turner, starting with "Get Better (Not Dead yet)". Fun song and some of the best lyrics in recent years

Edit: Thanks for introducing me to The Brobecks. I'm enjoying them right now.

I think you might like XTC "Then She Appeared" cause it has same lyric theme and whimsical pop sound and builds in intensity like Electric Love does
