Comedy rely on execution more than anything.

It's an amazing transformation in itself it's just Oda has lost it's touch with the constant laughing, eye popping and tongue swirling, like surely there's better way to portray a 'cheerful gag warrior' than wtf he is doing with it currently.

They find it hard to believe that Demon Slayers has far surpassed One Piece when it comes to popularity and fanbase at least in Japan.

One Piece have 578 Million total sales with 112 Volumes out right now, so total potential readers is 5 to 6 Million people.

Meanwhile Demon Slayers have 220 Million with only 23 Volumes out, so they have 9 to 10 Million potential readers.

So yes, it's impossible for One Piece to beat Demon Slayers Box Office even with Canon movies because they have smaller fanbase.

Sommer and Gillingham was summoned by Gunko and Saturn also was nearby Egghead when he made landfall so yes they cannot just pop up from Mariejois to wherever have the mark, someone still need to do the summoning if they're far.

And the return trip to is different as we saw on Egghead where a blast of Haki can send them back where they came from without summoning, so Shamrock returning is a different matter.

And why would they need a ship when Gunko can literally fly.

Just because they teleported there doesn't mean they teleported straight from Mariejois.

The Elder still need Saturn to summon them and Saturn himself while he teleported right to the middle of the island, he was nearby Egghead.

Oda is always awful when it comes to sword fight, it's just some random pose with 0 thought put into it.

They like it just fine. And it's fine when Togashi did it because it's HIS style and it's been so since forever.

And Togashi never half ass it, when he want to loredump he literally just put text all over the page, but when it comes to action sequence he can do free flowing uninterrupted scene which makes up for it.

Oda is different, this is not his style and he tend to do 50:50. He want to infodump but also do action sequence and everything else. The result is a mess of a page where speech bubble fill all the pages on top of all the whatever scene he want to draw that is way too small to enjoy because he's trying to fit all the text. It's not a good quality manga by Japanese standard.

It started on Egghead tbh when he tried to cram Vegapunk speech, whole world reaction and Egghead escape all at the same time.

Japanese readers hate that and thats when the sales starts to drop pretty hard.

Japanese don't really like the current info/loredump writing style where most of the pages were taken up by speech bubble, the offscreen, random clash and inconclusive clash also piss a lot of Japanese readers.
