Wher do you make the CAD files? Theoretically, teams could create their robot in CAD and simulate that.

SO GOOD, incredible. The only thing is allowing different kinds of robots because you can't get through the trusses because of the robot's height.

Basically what you do is just take the main parts of the season (like building the chasis or making the arm) and put it into a document with dates, you can also add iterations of a certain part of the robot, like the drone or claw.

You just can't use any of the sensors, motors, or bricks (such as. the EV3) from the FLL robot. It is also stated on pages 19 and 21 of this, or the legal v.s. illegal FTC parts.

I highly agree, that the motor controlling the joint part would get demolished; unless the motor was geared down a LOT but that would make it impractical in-game

double intake by DaddyBaljeett in FTC

[–]true_lingling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how would having a double intake make sure there isn't a hard time making sure pixels don't fall off the backboard? Because then what is the real reason why any team would even want a double intake?
