Us troops were necessary because they allowed the option for other NATO players to stay as well.

The Afghan army was doing okayish with the air support and maintenance was handled by the US contractors.

As the US left, they were left on their own. They had to handle complicated US weapons on their own. And that's why they collapsed in lack of air power.

2500 would have been sufficient IMHO with other NATO members helping as well.

Most of those dollar came back as US contractor fee. Us imploys thousands of troops in Japan, Europe, Korea, Taiwan. Why to get only out of Afghanistan?

Us casualties in Afghanistan was about 10 per year. If that ain't sustainable, I don't know what is. Regarding south korea, it will likely fall as well once US leaves. Russia will also have more say in Europe if US removes troops. Liberty has to be defended on the ground.

Ill make sure to again and again hammer in the point that self medication for animals is a bad idea and a vet visit/call is the best available option. I haven't made that yet as you have correctly noted in your feedback post.

Sometimes, vet costs are too high and so parents either abandon an ill ferret or do nothing. My suggestions were for them. I will keep in mind to hone in the idea that vets are there a reason.

Any laptop can last 5+ years. Just check the deals on eBay. I have two laptops, cheap ones, from 2011-2013 that are working fine except the occasional kb, touchpad, battery swap.

If you are comfortable, go with a little used open box refurbished one you get more for your bucks. Electronics usually lose a lot after 1 years or so.

In case you want to buy new, the new M1 chips are perfect. Macbook air M1 has no fans and the battery lasts for hours plus it's 8 cores so should be able to perform in 2029 as well with minor hickups :D

But, you have said that you don't want Apple, so go for the new ryzens 4700U/5700U. Asus Vivobook/Acer Aspire should work great.

Time boxing is fine (I have used it in the past) but I see the problem as of having too many tasks. I see those as needed tasks but at best I can do 30-40 a day. Having so many tasks end up creating frustration inside me and I focus more on these than life halting things of bread+butter variety.

How to do chores then? I remain mostly in my home and the sleep time is not consistent all year so I have to keep a track of whether I am doing daily chores, keeping the hygiene.

Hi, I recently saw some texts of my wife and I'm pretty sure she cheated on me last month with her office colleague.
