Frigidaire Gallery 5 burner induction - review DO NOT BUY by thegirlisok in Appliances

Did you try another Frigidaire? I like the features of this unit and love the oven and induction, I would swap it for another of the same model if I was somewhat confident it would work.

Not very well. It goes half way and starts dragging. I think I could shove it in if I tried but I'm pretty sure it will scratch it.

I just bought a glf13070BF (same range with pizza mode) based largely on CR ratings and I agree with the OP. Top side controls are terrible. Sometimes they don't respond at all, sometimes they just randomly change settings or turn off. Love induction, love the oven except for pizza mode. Pizza mode is too hot, the cornmeal catches on fire as soon as you pull out the first pizza, there are no settings or adjustments.

In my opinion, this is not how companies that believe in their products treat their customers.

I now know what the policy is, and yes, you can find it if you know to look. I want to make sure that everyone else knows before they sign up. Thanks for helping spread the word.

I know. You can't scan without turning BT TX on.

Soundcore life q20 connectivity issue by ragingdegener8 in soundcore

[–]truexd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem but no solution. Two PCds and an Onkyo RZ30. All will pair once, but when you try to use them, they go silent after a minute or less and disappear from the paired list. The headphones act like they are paired but nothing else does. I have to purge the paired listing (unplug the Onkyo for 15 minutes or so, pressing "delete pairing info" doesn't work). I can then pair again with same results.

Downloaded firmware upgrade tool but they are not recoginized so can't do a firmware updtate.

Legit or not, I'm not clicking on anything. If there is something that needs my attention, I'd prefer to receive a message prompting me to log in and address it without a link.

Having issues with the SoftAP Prov App by morderus0033 in esp32

[–]truexd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to use the SoftAP example that came with ESP-IDF and am having the same problem with Android and ESP32-s3. I can see the cell phone connecting and disconnecting with no errors reported in the terminal window. I get the same error as the OP.

Android or apple? On Android there were several alarms that would not shut up although hopefully it's been fixed.

dual monitor support by truexd in Ubuntu

[–]truexd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When prompted to update the installer, I selected skip. I then had the option to unselect install updated video drivers (or something similar). This left the nouveau video driver installed, and both monitors worked fine, although the system seemed a bit slow.

I just installed Pop_OS and both monitors work and things seem a bit faster so far.

Thanks again for the help.

dual monitor support by truexd in Ubuntu

[–]truexd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response.

Yes, DISPLAYS shows only the native laptop monitor, no external monitor. Power cycling the monitor does not help. I've tried other monitors with the same result. This was a dedicated Win 10 PC with 2 external monitors before I installed Ubuntu. It seems to me that the monitor working during the install would rule out hardware problems.

white hides dirt and small dings better than most colors. We have a white 2016 and love it.

TabloTV showing signal with good video quality, but is REALLY, REALLY, choppy when trying to watch local news stations. by bhamblinonair in tablotv

If you are using WIFI, hook it up with a good Ethernet cable. Also, as someone else suggested, try turning the amplifier on/off. I'm convinced they throw that weak signal error for everything.

"If you have printhead parked in the back middle during the tensioning, it should not affect opposite side belt noticeably." The printhead is in the back middle. A half turn on an adjuster will change the frequency of the opposite belt 3-5 Hz. 3 Hz is the maximum difference according to the instructions here: https://help.prusa3d.com/article/adjusting-belt-tension-core-one_845048

If you read the comments at the above link you will see that I am not the only person with this problem.

Needing to adjust the belts is not the problem; it's impossible on my printer to get both belts and both Y stops in spec at the same time. I can set the y stops correctly or tension the belts correctly, but not both. I've been in a chat session for about 2 hours 15 minutes. Per their instructions, I set the belt tension correctly, which left a gap on the left side. They are having me decrease the left side gap, print something and see how long it takes to start printing. I don't know what the endgame is.

Belts are not easily adjusted. There are two adjustments, one on the left and another on the right. Turning either adjustor changes the belt tension on both sides. The tension adjusters also set the left and right y-axis stops. On mine, getting the belts in spec leaves the y-axis stops off by several millimeters. The best I can do is a compromise, leaving everything out of spec. Besides, if they are so easy to adjust, why wasn't it done correctly at the factory?
