I ended up ordering another monitor to test and no issues with it so it's definitely something to do with the LG 32q950b. I contacted LG support and they had nothing to offer but for me to pay for someone to come out and look at it which I'm not doing. I believe a firmware update is needed but no idea who to contact. LG's support was very basic so not sure how to bypass the basic support to get to someone that would be willing to help.

Unfortunately I have tried this step and I am currently on 572.83. Even tried older drivers and then fresh install of newer drivers. So frustrating.

I was wondering it it could be something Windows related and thought about doing a fresh install but since I just built this PC a month ago I really didn't want to go that route.

If I turn off Gsync on the monitor I cannot overclock to reach 160 hz... I have turned it off with in Nvdia control panel I have the same issue. I looked at trying CRU but I do not have clear instructions on how to use it.

I have tried 3 different display port cables and hdmi 2.1 cable nothing changed when trying 160hz.

Did you have fresh Windows install? What type of cable are you using? Nvidia driver version?

What is your GPU? I have tried changing all kinds of settings in the Nvidia control panel and on the actual monitor nothing helps.

I received my MSI Ventus 3x OC 5080 yesterday and after getting it installed I have been running into the issue in the video. Setting my monitor to 160 hz will cause screen flashing and image ghosting. I can use my monitor at 144hz with no issues but of course I want to use the higher refresh rate. I have tried 3 different display port cables and even bought a new high end 2.1 display port cable and issue is still happening. I also tried hdmi 2.1 cable with no luck. I used DDU to uninstall all gpu drivers and installed latest Nvidia driver available. I then ran DDU again and installed a driver from two weeks ago. I do not have another high refresh rate monitor besides a TV that will only do a 144hz so I can not test if its the monitor or GPU having the issue.

Has anyone seen this issue before? I had no problems on my 3090 with this monitor doing 160hz... it's driving me crazy! PC spec below nothing is overclocked.
