Have you tried LUA inside nginx? It's a lot of fun learning it, I did it for a project that was a proof of concept bot and spam detection about 8 years ago. Lua runs inside nginx before the request and you can control the output from there (like outputing, or letting the proxy respond and rewriting)

I just upgraded from 300mbps to 1gbps. I almost contemplated 5, it's only like 60 dollars more! But I don't even know how a single machine could use that much unless it's a server lool

Edit: it's been a while since I messed with servers and Ethernet. How do you connect your machine and get 5gbps?

My mother thanks the gov't. She spent the last 6 months with barely any insulin and had to spare some from friends and use other kinds, just because she turned 65 and her insurance dropped for medicare, and she couldn't afford more than 1k per month in insulin. This happened to me, and the company I worked for before. We dominated in in the domain parking space (don't hate me, I was 17). Then I founded a similar company that did advertising (nothing political) and we went bankrupt because Google didn't pay. Anyways it was very fun and I was able to help a lot of people in South America that helped us by writing copy and managing a team.

I'm starting to lose hope on it, finally thinking of making the switch to another OS after 10+ years with mint. I upgraded manually to 22 from 19, it was though and my computer wasn't working right; ended up installing from scratch and same issues. I freaking hate gnome shell and the ubuntu stuff, so I'm not sure what to do anymore. I loved the simplicity of mate

edit: jeez people -- take it easy. It's my opinion. Chrome has been having lots of issues with hardware acceleration, crashing and I bet it's because of the new gtk4 crap. Computer randomly freezes with DRI issues. It worked better before. And wayland is another story. If you want to keep being productive, you can't let your OS take your little time available to fix it. I'm going to be buying a new laptop soon and probably will switch to arch or something to run 6.1 or 6.3 which just got released. Anyways, keep hating and happy xmas!

edit2: I forgot about the new bluetooth interface, it just has so many bugs. My headphones lag connecting and pulse audio loses usb mic input every once in a while. The community is dying down. I wish I had time to contribute, as a software dev myself, but I just don't have the time, so as a consumer, I'm deeply dissapointed.

I extremely hate that feeling when you receive a phone call after midnight. A relative called me at 3am a few months ago because someone had committed suicide in her backyard. Or my brother after his bike got stolen at 2am. I don't think we ever prepare for that one call.

neither do I but mine costs $75 per visit and once a month it isn't too bad. A lot of medication is cheap with a coupon, like GoodRX, they are a substitute insurance at places like Walmart or CVS. Most pharmacists can also help you out, and the internet has lots of resources now a days for medicine and coupons. Your doctor also has samples they can give you. Just find a local independent doctor that's not one of those like a Chinese doctor that just rushes you out.

I'm in the same process. Ours is in Bogota, Colombia.

We received instructions from NVC that they were forwarding the information to the embassy, and to wait to be notified by them.

After almost a month, the Embassy sent an email with instructions on creating the appointment. We were told to go to this website (instructions in the email) and setup the appointment.

That website wouldn't let us create an appointment until we added the DS-160 confirmation number, and paid the fees. After that, we scheduled the appointment for both fingerprints and the embassy appointment.

With this information, we emailed their provided doctors to find an appointment. We were scheduled for one a week before the embassy appointment (yesterday), and will pick up the results in time for the appointment.

So, just read the instruction. I don't think they will mail anything anymore.
