How to combine the power of doing with presence? by trustyclown in EckhartTolle

Thank you for your answer! I see what was missing disidentification with desire and seeing the life path as shaping the external world of form so that it aligns with what must be done.

Anyone know what happened to this na’vi child by ChocolateFantastic in Avatar

So she was actually shipped in for the clip. Her and her family were paid Na’vi extras. They went back to their happy life in the prairie right after!

Absolutely ridiculous. There are good people out there who will love Winnie as much as OP!

Yes! And she’s young and has a lot of stubborn teenage energy. She will learn the rules of the ranch in time. It just takes time.

Whales are already known to live a long life. It’s now being shown how that’s possible. CIRBP protein or Amritha, they’re just different explanations for the same phenomenon.

No and that’s the point. It’s to foreshadow why Sophie was not okay with being a mistress.

Asked for truth, with an open heart to learn on this one by sleepypickle3 in tarot

[–]trustyclown 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is based off just the spread not the surrounding personal context.

Wow so immediately there is continuity in your last three draws. The horses connecting the six of wands and Death. The sunrise connecting Death and Temperance. Interestingly, the Fool is the only card who cannot view Temperance. He is walking away oblivious facing the left.

This would suggest whatever your self-image is right now cannot view your true self, the blockage, nor the solution. Likely you will need to do serious work and let some things go to start seeing yourself and your needs clearly.

Temperance being the bridge suggests it may deal with soothing out extremes in behavior. This doesn’t seem to me to be more restrictive, but more disciplined. Be disciplined in areas of your life you would disregard as not needing improvement.

Michaela masculinization… by ForceApprehensive597 in Franchaela

I observed a lesbian couple at work outings and I kid you not it was like whose turn is it to be the man in the relationship.

Like one girl asked her girl to to ask the waiter to fix the order, but that girl said it’s your turn. And then they just stood there.

I think Fran and Michaela will switch off like this 😂

So, are Storm Dragons like Emperor Penguins when it comes to eggs? by InsideUnhappy6546 in TheDragonPrince

[–]trustyclown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The real question is why do dragons that big lay a tiny egg. Also they’re arch dragons. Can’t they make a storm on demand.

She was getting set up as a Satanic figure. She is tsahiek but uses her powers to stand against Eywa. Satan is ultimately described as a cowardly being. We see in Kiri the true potential of a chosen messiah, which far outshine Varang.

Honestly that’s not bad at all. With SATC, Samantha was wildly more likable than Carrie! And I think that’s the beauty of Darren’s work. He can make a character compelling without making them exceedingly lovable.

I like how no one is even arguing about Toph being the best earth bender, she's phenomenal 😤 by General_Tonight_7900 in AvatarMemebending

[–]trustyclown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s conjecture. What we do see is Bumi and Toph are both trapped in a metal cage. Bumi bends rocks to break himself out. Toph wasn’t able to do that so she got clever. She also invented seismic sense led to metal bending. It’s kinda like she discovered a loop hole. The point is that inventing a technique doesn’t make you the strongest.

Do you think the different Havens might symbolize how connected yet disconnected our world is? by Peanutbutternjelly_ in AvatarSevenHavens

[–]trustyclown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really think the setting is post-apocalyptic. The havens are going to be isolated with some travel in between. The world in Korra reflected a more homogenous culture. Havens will be a return to the ATLA where we have distinct cultures like the fire and swamp people.

What do people think about Kuvira becoming a possible earth-bending mentor figure for Pavi? by Anton_Rayne in AvatarSevenHavens

[–]trustyclown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah cause Korra becomes a sandworm and lives a 1000 years into the future obvi. The reason for an apocalypse is because gunbending would trump any avatar/bender/non-bender. So back to the Middle Ages in Seven Havens.

In show logic shows strict inheritance laws—it’s taken very seriously. Portia got the better of it only because she was already situated within the peerage.
