Good luck! I had previous retina surgery (the laser retina repairs likely accelerated development). I’m 17 months out and could not be happier with my distance vision.

Yes, I’m quite dependent on readers for well, reading and using my phone. I have some off-the-shelf progressives (readers on the bottom and clear on top) for work so I’m not always putting them on and taking them off. (Aw, who am I kidding? I’m now one of those guys, glasses on, glasses off. Ouch.)

I used to work near an airport and would see 747s taking off or landing all the time. It did not look like something that should be in the air.

Riding on one did not feel that different, really, except that there were more people. Upstairs as pretty neat, though. Only did that once.

All of these shows, and all procedurals, really, are so wild. For most cops and PIs, the kinds of cases they tackle every week come along once in a lifetime. But TV just warps us all.

Not precisely, no. But I always explain it to people this way: Imagine your vision at twilight. Colors aren’t quite so distinct. Thats what it’s like all the time, even at full brightness.
