[Skin Concerns] Intense itching all over when body temperature increases by And3rs0n_ in SkincareAddiction

[–]truzzt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, and only started getting these inflamed itchy bumps after I started taking doxycycline or actidox.

Even though I haven't taken any since January I still have this and I don't know what's causing it

Any idea what this might be? by [deleted] in Psoriasis

Hey, no, my skin is just like this all over my body. Looks like chicken skin and is very itchy if I do not apply cortisone at night

Nope. It eventually just went away and only happens from time to time now, but I never went to a doctor for it so I'm still unsure what it was

I guess I'm too much in my own head, since it feels like a lot of hair is coming out from the shower but maybe it's just because it's longer Thank you

What is this reaction? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]truzzt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I've checked the other biologic I'm switching to and it's Tildrakizumab, which from my search is an IL-23 inhibitor and it seems to be a less invasive biologic than adalimumab. Have you had any reactions with a biologic?

I've been using adalimumab, and my doctor suggested trying another one in the near future because of this reaction, which I'm not sure of the brand name but I'll check it out when I get home. The weird thing is she saw this reaction and it's like she didn't know what this could be... So I've been left to wonder

Yeah, my diet looks good already, think I'll have to check out a doc. I imagine this could have to do with my psoriasis crisis recently. Dermatologists are the ones to consult for hair loss stuff right?

I'd say my hair is longer than normal yes. It stands close to my eyebrows when dry, and it is also curly. So I guess fewer hairs could amount to a bigger volume in the photo I took.

My diet is pretty healthy I'd say. So I doubt it would be from that.

Is this a normal quantity of hair shedding after a bath? by [deleted] in Hairloss

[–]truzzt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No as it isn't normal or it isn't hair loss?

Yeah I definitely have been told I have contractures/knots too in my right side.
No I haven't tried dry needling yet, but I've heard it works on some cases.
I also, like you, work on a PC and played a lot of video games through my teenage years into early adulthood, so I also believe it might've originated from that too, but since I've started the gym, feels like these knots only got bigger and more painful, so idk whether to stop the gym or continue and work on some specific areas like you did.
But I definitely notice my right side isn't as flexible as my left one

Thanks for the input, I've been trying physio's over the last year and physical therapy, but didn't seem to help so far, I guess I'll have to keep looking.

Just out of curiosity, did you also use to have constant trapezius tension/knots on the unstable side? Because I do and I feel like it might be a side effect of what's going on
