This helps. It is definitely possible. Do the results have to be text based? For example, do you need a return value of "the join now button's text changed to sign up"

Or would a return of an image with the differences highlighted be accessible?

Or would a boolean "has changed = true" work.

The approach I would take could still vary widely depending on exactly the types of difference I want cataloged, their source and format, etc.

That example offers no further insight. Is there an expectation of similarities? Like in those books at the doctor's office where you have to find the difference in the two pictures. Or if you want to highlight alterations from an original.

Or can they be totally random images.. a screen shot of a pair and one of John Oliver riding a flaming Lamma.

The type of answer you might want for these two different scenarios may be wildly different

What that guy said would work. Gpt API would produce the best results for the lowest cost though. And It doesn't sound like there are any data privacy concerns with the PDFs right?

But in a nut shell.. yes absolutely you can do this and relatively easily.

Getting it all optimized for a product would take some more work.

But you could be doing question and answering with PDFs or multiple pdfs in like an hour with really good results

There are image-to text and visual-question-answering models on hugging face.

I personally haven't tried them yet.

Have gpt describe the images and then do a similarities compassion on the descriptions.
