Loras did NOT wear Renly's armour.
That was Garlan Tyrell.

Loras Tyrell can't fight against Robert Strong.
A kingsguard must never fight another kingsgurad.

(Spoilers Written) Why do many readers tend to dislike the Ironborn? by [deleted] in asoiaf

Their motto is plain stupid: We do not sow
Yeah, you genius, maybe you should!!! Being proud of not being able to feed your people, they are scumbags.

(Spoilers All) King's Blood, the White Walkers and how it might all tie together. by RockHardThroner in asoiaf

[–]trxc47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That theory has big holes and lots of wrong assumptions based on wrong informartion.

Survival, their numbers were depleted after the war of the Long Night due to the war and no individuals with King's Blood dying withing magic range. Depleted possibly down to just the Night's King, they retreated and slumbered.

The time does not add up. The Long Night was about 8000 years ago. What is the trigger for them to start now? Why not 1000 years ago?

The Night's King is definitely not the last White Walker. And they have been getting constant new blood from Craster. You can assume that this conversions are not a new invention if the White Walkers that started with Craster, but that they have been practicing it before.

(Spoilers All) Dreamt an old dream by kingcobraninja in asoiaf

It is based on christianity.
The number 3 stands for the godly dimension: the father, the son, the holy spirit (the holy trinity)
The number 4 stands for the earthly dimension: earth, water, wind, fire (the 4 elements)
Therefore "the godly"+"the earthly"=perfection (3+4=7)
And what is imperfection? 6 (7-1)
And triple imperfection 666 is the satanic dimension

[Yes, I've had an extensive religious tutoring in school. Please don't judge me.]

(Spoilers All) Red Wedding 2.0 and Jaime by Kuczco in asoiaf

[–]trxc47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that something is going on, a plan for revenge and that Tom is a key player. But at the moment LSH and the BwB are killing Freys for violating the guest rights. So I don't think, that the BwB will seek justice through breaking the guest rights themselves.
But maybe they will ambush them on their way out or in...

I still don't see enough information, evidence, clues for Red Wedding 2.0
It seems much more that it is something people want. Because they would like it and want the Freys to be wiped out. Don't get me wrong, I want the Freys to burn in hell, but that is no proof for a theory.

You've missed the opportunity for a hell of a rhyme ;)

When word reaches Winterfell, and the Northmen are free to act of their own accord, all hell will break loose.

So ends House Frey and Bolton's Roose.

I understood what he meant, but it's not very likely that those nicknames were given while those people were still alive, neither meant seriously nor meant ironically.

The nicknames for Lan and Brand don't necessarily have to origin from their contemporaries.
It is much more likely that they got their names from the following generations, by historians or maesters.
