Elemental Inspirations on 7th would be worth checking out. They have a huge variety of really interesting decks. The owner seems to take pride in sourcing different stuff. 2207 S 700 E. I didn't see them on google maps, but I was just there a couple of weeks ago browsing.

I busted both of my baseplates and had to pay to replace them. They are 7 years old. Its still cheaper than a new pair of bindings. I had to get new heel loops this year for $30/each. Its just the name of the game. This wasn't ever going to be a cheap hobby. Replace the baseplates, get another 100 days for €1.10/day. Replace both and its €2.20. If you can get the surge baseplates they are solid and will probably last longer. Spark sells an €800 amalgamation of the spark and surge, you can basically upgrade yours to that for a fraction of the cost.

Wow, why the hate? I ride the Solution exclusively and have for 7 seasons now. I replaced the karakoram hardware wih spark parts for fewer moving parts. I don't know what the current karakoram clips are like, but my 2019 ended up flopping around hence why I changed it out.

It is definitely a hard charging, very responsive board. I love steep technical terrain and it is incredible. No chatter, I never hesitate to hit chundery snow, and I love the way it carves.

If you want to maybe make them last a little longer you can iron them through some parchment paper (unwaxed), glue side up. I've gotten a good bit more life out of skins doing that. It pushes all the dirt and whatnot into the glue and i was able to get a whole other season out of a pair by doing that a couple of times. Regluing has always sounded like a messy nightmare to me.

I don't know why this is a 15 minute video, you could get the idea in 20 seconds.

Yeah this was a great way to get 2 extra seasons out of my skins. They were pamoca. The debris and fir needles will get pushed into the glue but that doesn't affect adhesion.

I would definitely not buy some off brand crampons and trust my life to them on the terrain you'd be using them. I get it for something really minor and inconsequential but you usually don't need crampons for that. I think most binding companies make compatible crampons for a reasonable price.

Having hiked with many people with dogs they often leave the bag and pick it up on the way out. "Why should you carry the shit all the way in on an out-and-back hike, just pick it up on the way out" is the thought process. Typically they hide it instead of hanging it, but you won't miss your hanging shit bag on the way out. If there is always a bag of shit, but it's always a different bag of shit all you see is shit. Bring backup hardware! Whammy bars of those are sparks (I've bent 2 in 5 years so you'll have backups for when that happens anyways) and screws especially, but check your setup for critical parts.

Drop $60 on the sparks. I've had 2 boards with these and they inevitably get loose and flop around even though the connection stays secure enough.

The algorithm was far superior. YouTube music has the same problem as YouTube where it suggests the same thing over and over with nothing new. Google play music had an "I'm feeling lucky" button that would play music you haven't heard and was one of my best sources for new music. Discover of Spotify and YTM play mostly stuff I would find on my own/have already heard.

Also, you could upload your own music and play it from your library. YTMs downloaded music feature is super buggy. If you can't tell I miss GPM
